I have a couple of references for bromoil but have so far been unable to find a reference for oil transfer.

Re: "good enough" what does it mean to you ?

I find you can overwork photos/paintings until you look at the technique used rather than the wanted image.
E.g. the grays in the photograph are so good looking you don't see the picture anymore.

Re: Metering and Exposing Ektar 100

I'd be interested in hearing answers to this.
I use Ektar 100 a lot and I expose it like a normal negative colour film and have no problems with that.
I like the colours in Ektar 100 more than...

I've upgraded since the CS version.
But Content aware spot and 64 bit are the two only big reasons to upgrade, otherwise I would probably have been quite happy with just CS.

  34. Re: Do you need permit to shoot with a tripod in Paris?

You need a building release form to shoot buildings in Paris (whole of France?). A friend who photographs for the A10 magazine got taken by the police for not having one.

Your favourite normal lens for 4x5?

  40. Re: “There’s no shot around here – time to head home.”

The only time I'm a bit peeved is if I miss a shot I should have taken. 'I'll have a cup of coffee before I take the picture' has ruined quite a few shots!
