  1. Re: What to get: PS, Affinity, GIMP, ON1, other?

    @Ralph Barker:

    I guess you will also delete my last reply for 'Reason: Rude'.

    Because of lack of political correctness? Because not being 'mainstream' or soft washed? Because of an opinion that...
  2. Re: What to get: PS, Affinity, GIMP, ON1, other?

    Use Vuescan for digitizing your images, and for plain and simple image editing PhotoLine or Affinity. It works. However, Affinity Photo currently features a bug for printing, so currently PhotoLine...
  7. Re: Longest expired transparency film you have used successfully?

    2008 I've purchased a carton with Fuji Provia 100F, some Astia 100 and 4 old Velvia 50 with date of expiration between 2008 and 2010. I've never put them into a freezer. From 2009 until 2013 the...

    With the Nikon LS 9000 and VueScan you can select 'Oversampling' up to 16x. At 2x the scan time already doubles, I don't want to know how long a scan with 16x oversampling would need. I've tried a 4x...
