As others have said your ability to print large files will be based on the drivers/RIP you are using. At work I have the IPF 9400, using the Canon software I have yet to find its limit, 6GB files are...

The Gundlach has pins in the back that lock into latches on the camera, I cut the heads off nails and hammered them into my plywood back in the appropriate places.
As to your question, I don't...
I did the same thing with a 5x7 Gundlach. It came with no back so I cobbled together a 4x5 back and used that until I finally found an original 5x7.
Thank you all for the advice, as suggested I will make sure everything is square then glue the joint before drilling for a dowel.
I mentioned hide glue simply because that is what was originally...
I bought a Rochester 8x10 recently It is in excellent condition except for one joint. As you can see from the photographs someone repaired a loose joint with a nut and bolt, the bolt head sits on...
My HC-110 was opened 2 years ago, it is dark orange and still works just fine, I'm sure your bottle will be the same.
The camera may be a Ihagee, the front standard is identical to a Ihagee I have. Look inside the case, there may be a name plate attached close to the rear of the bellows.
I just built a lens board for my Rochester 8x10. The lens is a Gundlach Radar 12" on a Wollensak Betax No5 shutter, I had to drill a 4 5/8" hole for it. I have 4 plate holders for this camera so I...
A collector may want an original lens board, but as most here would do, when I bought my Rochester 8x10 without a lens board I made one out of birch ply. I did go as far as staining it mahogany...
But they're not claiming it to be an NOS original, they're just looking for idiots willing to pay that much money,
Otherwise known as the Sewer Des Peres. :)
The flood of '93 pre-dates me, I didn't move to St. Louis until 2001. Thank you for the welcome, I live 3 blocks from Bevo Mill.
I used it on the camera for the first time today, the image was bright and focusing was easy, thank you for the fast service.
Blood pressure bulb and some medical tubing....
Here's one of mine, a Gundlach 5x7 from about 1926. I bought it last year missing a few pieces. I have used it a few times with a home made 4x5 back but this evening I finished putting it together...
Space I have, I just need to find the time to do it!
I haven't had a darkroom in a little over 20 years so you can imagine how excited I am to have been given enough equipment to set up two last weekend, one I am giving to a friend, the other I am...
Sorry, I meant to say hi a day or so ago, it's good to see a familiar face.
Quite a way south of Jac, but we both live on the same river. :)
I'm in St. Louis.
I saw that, I'm looking at their list. :)
I just received a 5x7 ground glass I ordered from Barry a few days ago, it looks very good to me, happy customer.
I'm actually a Brit, just been over here for a while.
I'm in the printing industry and in the mid 80's I printed Fay Godwin's book Land, I've liked her work since.
Excellent! I have a 1971 MGBGT and a 1979 MGB with a Buick 215 V8 up front.
There's something about hauling a vintage camera out of a vintage car at your chosen photo location. :)
I don't think I posted here before but if I did I need to update anyway.
As a teenager and young adult I always dreamed of owning a LF camera but never actually got round to buying one. Fast...
I have the same, mine is actually printed on paper and laminated. It's at work right now but if I happen to be reminded on this thread on Monday I could scan it and post pdf's somewhere for people to...
Operators can't dial up the power, it's fixed. A lead bag may get your bag pushed to one side for a hand check though, if that happens one of two things is likely to occur, either it'll be swabbed...
My experience with New York is no, tripods are not allowed, regulations may not ban them but local security loves to tell you that you can't do that. I have found that monopods are usually not a...
I'm brand new to LF, so far I have shot 6 sheets of film, currently I spend as much time making notes as setting up the camera but those notes certainly help, my images are getting better. :)
Interestingly enough I was given a small pile of Polaroid 55 and Polaroid 59 today, expiration 2006. I expect to get something from the black and white, I'm not so hopeful of the colour though.

Thank you for the welcomes, I'll try not to annoy you too much by asking a bunch of dumb questions. :) Obviously some of you know who I am, I use the same name on all photo boards so a few of you...
I have been shooting for over 40 years, starting with a Kodak Brownie 127. For 30 of those years I have wanted to try large format but have never really been in a position to try it either through...
