sounds a lot better then my adjunct status as a college instructor
think of your class time as simply a regularly scheduled photo assignment
what sort of classes will you teach?

Just downloaded to my Samsung Galaxy S3. Will check it out. Thanks.
I have this lens with all three rear elements. So long as you shoot straight on without movements you will cover an 8x10 sheet of film with slight vignetting. If you scan the film you can open up the...
I use a Nikon Macro 120mm f/5.6 Nikkor-AM(ED) Lens with Copal #0 Shutter
Can't wait till the coffee mug version comes out.
Visit both Getty Museums (neither are downtown), and the Disney Concert Hall designed by Frank Gehry that is downtown.

I'm sure there are other sources. Hope this helps.
Classic car with a classic lens. Congratulations. Beautiful. My Cooke XVa is more of an Ansel Adams lens then a pictorial look and feel. Grin.
I do a very slight global unsharp mask via Silverfast. I do all the rest of my sharpening, using the high pass filter technique applied to only those areas of the image needing sharpening, at the...
beautiful seeing
I love Carroll County, Maryland's landscapes. Anyone can do Yosemite. Sierra Nevada's have nothing on us. HA!
Damn if I own the lens but have never used it at 2:1 to know this detail. I do know to always measure from the nodal point, but all those formula learned in class decades ago have faded away. Grin....
Hello France, good you're aboard.
thanks for your review!
I prefer wood tripods for the field. Your hand doesn't freeze to them when it is cold, and the damp vibration faster (in my opinion, but I don't have the engineering specs).
Welcome. Enjoyed seeing your work on the website. Glad you joined.
Greetings.
Depends on what software driver you are using. I use Silverfast on my v750.
First I scan all my B&W negatives as if they are color negatives. My personal preference is that I get more information...
I know you want a ball head, but in my experience of trying to level an LF camera with a ball head I've come to the conclusion that they are not worth using. That said, there are many fine ball heads...
might have to do with Newton Rings, just speculating

Is there a Segway trailer so I can pull my 8x10 kit?
I found Dave, next to the TV camera. That's his speed graphic with a Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm f/2.5. He's also wearing his silly mad bomber hat.
Dave shoots only 4x5. I've shown him my 8x10 Canham, but he told me he's got enough to carry between the Holga, Leica M9, two Canon 5D mkIII's, and his speed graphic.
I enjoy my KB Canham, but there are so many excellent 8x10 field cameras out there.
only on 4x5, my 8x10 is a field camera, so I work with two different bellows
the Nikkor 120 is sweet, and have used it with success
go for it
greetings from a galaxy far far away, grin
Welcome
Thanks for the "Google" error note. I'll have to submit the site name to Google for a refresh. Their robots haven't found the changes from my old site yet.
Next I'll need to buy an iPhone since I...
Thanks Kirk. Amazing that over time, with enough attempts, all the stars come into alignment for a photograph.
I'm got plenty of critiques proving once again that is takes only one photographer to change a lightbulb, and 3587 photographers who will say they can do it better. Grin.
Just want those who are...
Welcome. Use to live in Arlington, but now I'm a little far north of you.
Hi all,
Just completed the redesign of my website using Adobe's latest web program called "Muse." Only two galleries so far, but more will be added in the near future.

link worked for me
Oh it is two separate images. Grin. Nicely done.
