I’ve picked up a 210mm f5.6 Caltar II-N from ye old auction site. It was banged up enough to be cheap but is in functionally perfect condition... with one issue. The Copal No. 1 shutter it’s mounted...

The 3 screws do not connect through to the center column part - I think taking it to a mechanic to tighten the bolt is a good call. Thanks.

I am assembling my first 4x5 kit, and I just bought a manfrotto 055 tripod. It's great except for one thing - there's some play where the tripod mounting plate connects to the center...
I ended up going for a Sinar F1 for about $50 more... now I just need to wait for it to make its way up here to Canada!
