    Re: Call me crazy but...

Mine's been reduced to a Busch Pressman 4x5 & I don't regret it at all. I can use it handheld with the rangefinder & 135mm raptar, or since I opened up the front of the bellows frame, I can use my...
  2. Re: How do you properly use the Calumet print washer?

I don't know if different size washers are set up differently. But on my 20x24 washer, the lower outlet drains the entire washer & the upper outlet is where the wash water comes out.

Re: Busch Pressman 4x5 bellows mod

Re: Busch Pressman 4x5 bellows mod

The opening in the front of the bellows is only about 1/8" smaller than what's needed to allow my 90mm Nikor-W & 210mm Caltar II from fitting. If i could take 1/16" from each side of the bellows...

    Busch Pressman 4x5 bellows mod

I've done 16x20 B&W fiber prints in Jobo 2830 & 2840 connected drums without any problems. I couldn't tell any difference between drum & tray developed prints. I used double the recommended...

    Re: Nikor sheet film tank

Well, so far I've got it adjusted & can load 12 sheets without any problem, lights on. Next I'll try it with the lights out & see if I can get the retaining band on in the dark.

  10. Re: Jobo Lift and Big Tanks: "Jaw Thrust" technique...

I stripped a piece of #12 Romex, about 1ft long. Wrapped one of the insulated wires around the horizontal arms of the lift & formed a loop in the other end. I use this to lift the drum clear of the...

    Re: Paint/Color for Darkroom Sink

I used a light gray on mine. I don't know if white would cause a problem or not. I used marine topside paint on mine & the only "problem" I had was C-41 developer staining it.
