  1. Re: Open Tubes in Trays, Covered by Solution, OK for Minimal Agitation/Semi-Stand?

    What about developing them vertical?

I was thinking for example you can get a 5 inch diameter pvc pipe, cut it a foot long. Cap the pipe leaving you with one open side. Put the developer in.

What size negs are you developing? Do you have a budget?

Re: Where to find scanning fluid locally?

Are you required to have the "official" scanning fluid?

If not you can make it yourself. Forum search will help you go down that road if you choose so.

    Re: Photoshop CC observations

OpenCL is the new programming "library" or think of it as a newer technology if you want. Maybe you've heard of OpenGL? It's a giant collection of software that seemingly has been written for more...

Re: What flatbed scanner for 4x5/5x7 negatives?

This is a key post for anyone who wants to try the ANR glass.

You do not have to buy an expensive piece of glass for this process. I also buy the same glass as described above for scanning on the...

Re: What flatbed scanner for 4x5/5x7 negatives?

The 700 or 750 scanners are good. I currently use a 750 with the wet scanning glass for 4x5. Works great when you sandwich the neg between a ANR glass of sorts. If you want you could grab the updated...

Re: Stand Developing tanks/technique for 4x5

    I second this.

It seems to me that the Mod54 and a Paterson tank keep it simple, and relatively cheap considering other solutions. In my opinion it was a no-brainer compared to other methods.

    I...

    Re: .photo Domain Name

So essentially the .photo has no effect. It's all about the content and key-wording! ...well unless the one searching is doing an advanced search to filter it out. That doesn't seem too likely though.

Re: New Epson V800, V850 flatbed scanners

Re: New Epson V800, V850 flatbed scanners

    Bill,

I assume you are asking about the 5x7 holder? Otherwise there's always the option on the 850 that will presumably have the wet/dry mount holders.
