    Film Holder as Reducing Back

    Not necessarily true. The 8x10 ground glass in the 8x10 back is still calibrated for the 8x10 film depth and hence this will work although the tolerance for error is greater.

    Aviogon 15cm for 8x10?

    Has anyone been able to mount a Wild/Leica Aviogon 15cm/5.6 lens in a shutter fo r use in an 8x10 camera? Is this lens just too large to contemplate this?

    Color analyzer

    You may wish to start out without the analyzer. All it really does is save on the number of test prints. You can always get one if you start doing lots of Ilfochrome.
