I imagine you'll want the lens somewhere between 5.6 and 11ish.

I bet it's from the bellows as well, but I am curious as to what brand camera Robert is using as I have a theory based on a certain brand's original equipment bellows material.

    Re: g-claron 150mm 9 resolution

Post the scales here if you can. I once used the 305mm g-claron and it truly was noticeably sharp. I was considering the idea of using one again recently in the 210mm focal length for some close up...

Thanks Bob. That was kind of what I was asking. So it doesn't somehow simply connect to a Copal shutter? It's hard to tell from the pictures and the seller's vague description

    Re: Bumping in the Classifieds

I agree. I mean this hobby, art practice, etc. is heavily reliant on gear. I always find it strange when people who are into it, don't get psyched up on gear. I go to the "For Sale" section...

  21. Re: Marks when Using Jobo Print Drums for B&W negatives. Possible causes and solutio

I had marks while using HP5 in 8x10" in the 3005 Expert drum. The marks were always on the base side (the side against the wall of the drum). Kodak TXP never showed any marks so I went back to...

Re: DIY jobo base (work in progress, input welcome)

The Beseller motor bases work indeed, but honestly they aren't great and especially with larger drums. They're slow and fairly unsteady. This is much much nicer and has speed adjustments.

If you're scanning 8x10" negatives you can make 32x40" prints easily and have them look sweet. I've done it and have seen it done numerous times on just an Epson V700 (not even the higher end 750). ...
