I like this app. Super simple and free. It works on my nexus 4. The camera will almost cover a 135mm lens. Good Luck!
Have you seen this thread?
I have a peak loupe and I vastly prefer to use a normal 35mm lens. The focus area is better magnified and bigger. I was actually quite shocked when I tried it out because it was so much better.
I wonder if there is any other 4x5 camera in production that has sold 1000 units?
I love my 300 f9 lens for landscape. I like the angle of view so much that I am thinking about getting another 300 that is faster for portraits and still life.
There is a bit of a review of the novoflex Here.
Does anybody have any experience using the novoflex walking stick tripod legs with a view camera? They seem pretty ideal to me. I only have two concerns. They only extend to 57inches which might be...
I think the reason to use a larger lens with excess coverage is that you may have one already or you want just one 90mm that will work on both this and another camera with movements. I hope my 90...
There are many opinions about that camera on this site. Have you tried a google site search? Try reading a few of these. I love mine, it is a camera suited to carrying long distances. Good luck with...
I dont think you can focus a lens that long without the bed extender thingie, even with it you can barely focus much closer than infinity. Definitely check any lens' flange focal length before buying.
I think each lens differs by a few mm. If you had a view camera I would just carefully focus the lens you plan on using then measure it carefull from the ground glass to the lens mount. That way you...
Does anybody have an image file of the aperture scale for this lens that they would be willing to share? Thanks in advance.
I usually take just one holder, on a rare occasion 2. When I go out I take a picture maybe 40% of the time. Having read through this it seems like people bring about twice as much film as they...
What is a Little Bertha/Big Bertha? Google tells me it is a golf club...Ah, a few more minutes searching I come up with this

I am wondering if anybody has had any success shooting wildlife with a large format camera? I usually hike around Utah's Wasatch mountains and see quite a bit of deer, moose, birds. My usual weekend...
82204 Chamonix probably continually improves/changes things, so I am not surprised that some cameras are a bit different. This is the screw on mine that tightens the focus mechanism.
Mine never slips but there is a hex setscrew near the knob that tightens it.
When you click "customize" then "edit html" on my tumblr. I found a section that looks like this, yours may be a bit different.
I changed some things here and it seemed to work. Even just...
I made one, it only took five minutes on a slow saturday. I used it to practice my Galli Shutter, also to compare lenses. I don't think it is a *complete* waste of time.
I got leaks like that from reinserting the dark slide too roughly and unseating the holder from the camera.
I really love my chamonix. But there are a couple places that have gotten worn a bit that a new owner might want to know about. 1) when folded up the slide that attaches the bellows to the back of...
I measured carefully and there is about 49mm or so to put a lens under the ground glass, sorta inside the bellows when it is folded. Another strategy is reversing the lens and the lensboard in the...
I started developing e6 last fall and haven't had any problems either. I had never developed any film before. I rarely agitate consistently, my dev times randomly vary by about 10% with no ill...
Does anybody know if a small lens will fold up inside a chamonix 45n-2? Mine are all too big. I imagine with a small lens (say a 135) mounted backward it may be possible. What lens would you...
Wow 44 thousand dollars! You could get 30 Mac monitors and a 14 thousand dollar computer to run them.
Sometimes, depending on the trial schedules, you can find flocks of polygamists at one of the courthouses on 4th south. It seems like they are over there once every couple weeks. They are definitely...
Depending on the ground clearance of the rental I would think of driving to the spiral jetty? It is a weird landscape!
Also, I've been thinking alot about how to take pictures in the cottonwood...
I have made a couple of these with goat leather. My best recommendations are:
~to get it really wet with warm water
~do not completely wring it out before gluing on. it should still be kinda...
Cool, thanks for your help.

Is it possible to unscrew the elements of a sinar dbm mounted lens and screw them into a regular copal shutter? Specifically I am thinking of moving something like a nikkor 300 f9 (that often comes...
I recently bought my first lf camera, an 045n-2 and two lenses, a 90mm and a 210. It all seems to work great together, the camera with either lens has plenty of movement. Mine has the universal...
Thanks so much for the lighthouse example...the reason I havent been working on this is I don't have a digital camera to take some pictures with so including the files is a godsend for me.

This is a great thread and I am really interested in where it is going. I am beginning to get worried about the structure organization of using a discussion thread to facilitate this.
There have...

I am glad brian mentioned the gimp cli backend. This is a sensible option for doing the stitch with a plugin that can be executed without running the whole gimp gui. Maybe somebody with more...
It sounds like the recommendation is to attach a lens on a macro bellows? to a live view DSLR? Is there a particular lens or type of lens that would work best? 50mm 2.8 enlarger lens?
On another...
The macro copy stand would need to beat the epson by a fair bit, say 3 times better or 7200 dpi.
That is better than 50 megapix per sqaure inch.
So you need more than four but not as many as 9...
I took some pics with my caltar s-II. I bungie corded my digital camera to the back so I wouldnt waste any film/time. These are aps-c sensor digital files compressed into jpgs I don't see much...
