Thank you, we will check it out this weekend.
Yes lightroom is what I use and it is pretty easy, plus if you do color you can use negative lab pro and it is even easier then. Can you use your DSLR raw shots and open them on epson scan? I have...
After not shooting LF for a long time, I am slowly getting back into it. Take with a wista 45d, Caltar 210/5.6 and Berger 400. I need to up my washing technique. Also thinking of a way to easily scan...
I have some Berger 400 sheets that I want to try out. Usually I develop using Rodinal or HC110, but I also got some Clayton F76+ to try out. Does anyone use this combination? Or give a starting point?
Yes I am planning on doing inversion for now. I have never tried continuous agitation, but I am interested in that too.
Looking to get B's 4x5 reel or the SP-445. I already have a paterson 3 reel tank. The sp-445 has a lot of glowing reviews, the B's seem relatively new and loading it seems pretty simple. Economy in...
So my 4x5 has no cold shoe or accessory shoe. I am using a 2.5mm to pc sync cable ( seems like these come in only 12inch lengths.) to connect it to my wireless flash trigger BUT there is nowhere to...
Just bought 6 boxes of 4x5. Do you think this paper is here to stay for a while?
Thank you all for the replies, and for the link to the tripod attachment. I think the copy stand idea is what I will go for. Time to hunt for one of those.
So I am planning to do contact prints for my 4x5s. Space is very limited, so what is the most compact way of doing contact prints? I dont mind a DIY project, I just need ideas as I am drawing a blank...
I like the one photo Idea. I have a macro lens already, so I can use that. I just need a light table, a 4x5 holder (or maybe even just black cardboard mask). I see those tripod attachments that hold...
What's your method of scanning using a digital camera and a macro lens? Will be going back to 4x5 and sadly I have sold my v700. Not really looking to buy one due to space issues (already have a v600...
Aaaand I think my scanner has issues with banding. Cant wait to print again.

So many cynical grumpy old men here. +1 to this guy for going on his own personal journey.
How does that explain anything?

Pledged, good luck on the funding. :)
You might also want to try pinholes, like the Harman Titan or the other pinhole cameras you can find in ebay. I usually don't like pinholes in smaller formats but they seem to work well in larger...
Thank you for the replies and information, I appreciate it. I guess I will stick with the pinhole first, then maybe try a hyperfocus box camera. :)
Since pets are not allowed where I live, the next best thing I can get is a plant that eats bugs, but I have yet to see it in action.
Crown Graphic + 127mm Ektar + Paper Negative

I am planning on buying a 5x7 pinhole camera that a friend is offering me. I saw some of his contact prints and they were really nice, the pictures were not as soft as I thought they would be. But...
A quick question, are images taken with a Polaroid Land Camera (210,250, etc.), considered large format? I have a bunch and I don't know if I can post them here. :)
Or cut 8x10 into four? That's what I have been doing.
A picture of fisherman back in the Philippines, I think I was trying to handhold my Canon 1000d at 1 second. :D

Thank you for the replies, I will develop again this weekend and check if my bellows have light leaks.
Hi, I a few days ago I used the taco method to process 4 sheets of 4x5, I have done this before and with nice results. The 4 negatives I processed showed some weird stuff on the left side of the...
Quite a few still do LF. I think there is only one store that sells LF film, and they don't stock regularly. Paper negatives are the way to go. :) other than that its ordering from freestyle/BH or...
Marami kang matutunan dito. :)
Welcome!
If you go to youtube.com ang search for Fuji Pa-145 there are some videos that show you how to do it. I would post a link but I am using my smartphone so I don't know how and I am also bad at...
Hmm, any chance these headlamps (the Lenser and tactikka) can be used as a safelight??
