Thanks for the reply. My Hasselblad is a 201f with a focal plane shutter. I was thinking of using an extension tube as a mount because it would be pretty cheap.

Dan, thanks for reply. By adapting I mean using projector lenses and such. My Hasselblad is a 201f so it has a focal plane shutter. I was thinking I could use a short extension tube for a mount...
I am interested in exploring the process of building or adapting lenses for my Toyo 45 or my Hasselblad. Can anyone recommend a group here or Facebook or websites? Thanks!

Sorry, didn't know that was bad form.

Thanks for the photos! It looks like you plumbed the mixing valve output through a single filter and then the hose. Is that correct? Then the other outlet with the thermometer is cold only....
I just bought an older Leedal Mixing Valve on eBay and I am ready to get it plumbed. I am trying to think of the best way to plumb it while leaving options to discharge either through the mixing...
I just bought a Leedal Mixing Valve on eBay and would like to get it plumbed in the next couple of weeks. Plumbing it in is straight forward, but I am thinking there might be some good ideas out...
Nicholas, the problem turned out to be in the pump. There was crud built up under the metal "flaps" that control the airflow. I cleaned the pump and it works much better. Thanks

You can find helicals (or helicoids) on eBay for not much money. I bought one for a 90mm Holga Pan 120 conversion and it seems to work fine.

I have emailed and called GAST but they do not respond. But, the good news is that I fixed the pump! Since the pump was getting rapidly worse I decided I had no choice except pulling the pump apart....
Thanks Gary, I will give that a try. I can't get the pump manufacturer to respond about a rebuild kit.

Thanks Eric. I have already emailed the manufacturer to see if a kit is available and I have checked all the connections. I am going to replace the hose in case and see if that helps as well.

I am using an older Nuarc Plate Burner for platinum printing and the vacuum pump will not pull the amount of vacuum that it should. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve performance on...
Have you removed the white reflector from the lid? I forgot to remove it a while back and I had the same problem.

Does anyone know if they are going to put the Travelwide 90 in to actual production and retail sale?
Thank you for your immediate help Laura! It appears that the problem was on my end. I am enjoying issue #11.
Laura, just sent you an email. I purchased issue #11 and clicked the download button. The magazine appeared briefly and then disappeared, nowhere to be found. I sent you my PayPal transaction...
Allan, I have been using the "magic brush" with success. I wanted to add rod coating to my toolbox though.
Tim, that pretty much describes the technique I am using. I mix in a shot glass, pour it along the rod, wiggle it back and forth to to coat the liquid even. I get a nice even coating across most of...
I have been trying rod coating for platinum printing without much success so far. I always seem to get a "holiday" (painters term) or dry spot in the coating. I have tried rotating the rod, end for...
I have been getting mixed messages on printing on Bergger COT320. I have been told that the paper is packaged so it is marked for the printing side, but I have never seen any marking. I was also...
Does anyone have any recommendations for a "reasonably priced" soft focus lens in shutter that will cover 4x5?

Will I need a recessed board for a Rodenstock 90 mm Grandagon-N f/6.8?
I am new to LF and I have been building a kit which now includes a Toyo 45CF w/RODENSTOCK 150MM F6.3, a Sekonic L-508 meter, and of course a tripod. I am looking for a wide angle lens for the Toyo...
I sent the pictures by email.
Thanks!
I bought a Rodenstock 90mm f8 Geronar-WA MC Wide Angle Lens on Copal 1 Shutter for 4x5 on eBay. It came without a lens board so I purchased a Copal #1 lens board for my Toyo 4x5. The lens, which...
The back was advertised to fit the 45CF, but I do not see how it could possibly work. I guess I will be sending it back unless someone out there is interested.
Sorry for the confusing image posting. Not sure what I did wrong. Anyway, the back with the gridlines showing is the stock back and the other is the revolving back in question. You can see the...

I bought a revolving back on eBay that was advertised to fit my Toyo 45CF. I can't see how it could possibly fit but when I look at the Toyo website and B&H Photo's website it appears that there is...
Thanks everyone. I will keep you posted.
I am ready to move into the world of (4x5) LF photography and I have been doing a lot of reading and research to get an idea of what I should be looking for in a camera and lens. It seems there are...
I am looking at a camera listed on eBay as a "Century" 8x10 view camera. It has a non-working Goerz 8.25 f2.9 double anastigmat series 3. Lens and the camera is in pretty rough shape. I am...
HI all,
I am thinking about building a 5x7 folding field camera as a long range project. I have the wood working skills but I am looking for information on design. I may also need to source...
I am thinking about purchasing a 90mm lens for my Technika III but I am new to large format and do not know what to look for and what fits and doesn't. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
