That's weird - I've never been disappointed in my lens.
This was shot at f/32 and the image is uncropped.

Thanks guys! I agree that it will make a nice print, I'm thinking 16x20 will be a good size.
TheToadMen - Thanks for the identification!
I photographed this from inside a tree on the grounds of Glamis Castle in Scotland. You can see the branches going into and back out of the ground. I'm not sure what species it is, but it sure is...
I always give my camera some time to cool off in the porch or the car before going out. I made a mistake once by taking a room temperature camera out in a snow storm, the flakes melted on the surface...
Thanks guys!
My nieces wanted to to a photo shoot this weekend. Despite the cold, we had a lot of fun.

I've been wanting to try a multiple shot panorama for a while. Unfortunately, I screwed up my metering and blocked-up the shadows pretty good.
Should have double checked my settings - oh well.

I don't know about that particular plug-in, but not having prior knowledge of film, it seems like a logical starting point. I'm sure you've scoured Flickr too, looking at images actually shot on the...

Thanks, guys.
I'm not much of a portrait photographer, but I liked this photo of my niece from last weekend and thought I'd share.
She's always goofing around - wearing a huge smile, so I thought I'd try for a...
Man, this winter is getting loooong - and another snow storm is on the way.
I guess these could also go in the 'post your trees' thread, but I like this thread better.

Chipped in!
I agree with Marko - the last one is very beautiful, Ramiro.
The last one feels like it's sharp and soft in just the right spots. Nice work!
Thanks again, everyone!
gbogatko - Yes, the screw was removed when I got the lens. If I remember right, it can go to about "25" before the front element comes completely off.

The lack of snow around here is kind of disappointing.

Jim - I'd like to try photographing in the desert some time, never been to that part of the country.
JP - Yep, same lens / camera. I have more to post, just need to get the...
Here's another image I took from the same area. A long time ago, this was part of a sandstone quarry.

+1 on the Lana Aquarelle HP for VanDyke brown prints.
I give it a precoat of oxalic acid and get very consistant results with it.
Thanks guys! It means a lot coming from you.
Here is another one from yesterday evening. I used my "aperture box" with a yellow filter.
I have yet to print any of these, I'm wondering if they'll lose their appeal without the backlighting of...
"Aperture box", I like it!
I couldn't think of a good name for this thing, but that's perfect. Thanks Chris.
