No Mention of all the Press Cameras in Captain America yet?
I lost count after a bit.
Wow! looks like a sketch/rendering... great work there Laron
They must look dead on the same then... Cool! then yeah, fixing this up with a graflok back is simple. See above post for how-to.
Looks like you may have your hands on a 3x4 Anniversary Speed Graphic instead of a

They do make Graflok backs for them, but...
Not Bad, any other info on it?
Nice find whatever it is, hope the price was right.
Dye the Epoxy (most resin two part epoxy's can be dyed fairly easily), and make sure it's chemical proof, and i don't see why not.
Film? I see Holders... I see France... I don't see no room for your Underpants.
Welcome Indeed

It's sad that your "secret Weapon" is heavier than your camera and film combined...
Now that i'm thinking about it.... it probably gets more use out in the...
Sidmac has the right idea. Contact them directly and they'll be far more likely to help you than if you just show up ready to shoot. Give them a copy of the work-order or assignment schedule to show...
Golf supply stores carry various "ultrasonic" rangefinders... if you're looking to shoot something a fair distance away.
*see above post*
Sweet whale of a lens! That'd make for a wicked "Box-Truck" Camera Obscura. Very cool indeed... now all i gotta find is a Uhaul truck for sale, and some HUGE photo paper.
ehem...

I'm not too far behind Patrick, but i'm 27 and aging quick.
Been shooting since i was 14-15, but only recently caught the L.F. bug. Looks like it'll be the end of me.

Cheap Cotton Fabric
Heavy Cardstock (check your local comic book store, ask for backing boards)
Craft Paper

Making a camera can be uber cheap... only problem is the initial equipment investment needed to piece it all together. Table saw/Router Table, Variable angle Miter Box and a GOOD hand saw, Drill...
Good Find! We've got an old "retired" color plotter back in our storage room at our office that i'm thinking of purchasing from the firm to give them some "much needed storage space" back.......
Two Words - Cellphone Camera
If i'm out and about and spot something worth shooting sometime, i'll stop and snap a few pictures with my phone from all angles, make a note in my notepad app, and...
... looks like i'm headed to lowes tonight and buying some gloss white oven paint... I was wondering this the other day when i saw the top of a UPS truck outside of our office. Huge brown truck,...
Didn't think about the fact that there's a little flange holding my GG in place... Might work if i just slide it behind that.
The one from walmart is only about 1/16th (plus a bit) thick, so it...
only thing i hate is how flimzy these things are. I thought about marine-epoxy attachment to a 1/8" sheet of glazing to keep it rigid, but can't see a great way of pulling this off without screwing...
I have two, both are a slate grey, but the corners guards are different. One has Black, one has a more Galvanized steel look.
Walmart sells these too in the toy department. They're mounted in a sort of handle/frame deal and can be cut reasonably with scissors.
Anybody looking for a cheap Fresnel might be in luck with one...
listen to this man.
also, there are many many tutorials out there on how to remove lens elements. I suggest you watch/read as many as you can before you start or risk destroying your lens.
do not send it back. Lenses are the easiest to clean so long as you take time, dont' force anything, and use the proper tools. As long as your shutters are working fine, cleaning lens elements should...
oh god the physical cringe i went through reading that.... lol. Letting children sit on your LF case is asking for problems. To each their own though.
Pelican cases are great, but there are...
HOLY COW that's a great shot. That root mass really stands out against the other foliage. Almost looks like some sort of ent or dryad lurching up from the soil.
Great work!
I'm having this same issue too. I'm looking for something that i can carry around backpacking with me as opposed to lugging it around. Contractor/Surveyor tripods seem to have a design that i like,...
lol, feel free... but i do NOT advise this in any form.
Light leaks at the bottom of the shot of your husband? Might want to check your holders.
Great shot though! Welcome to LF!
I've considered driving down for the weekend, but my weekends continue to become clogged with work.... I don't see how you guys make the time to get out and shoot.
Good Greif Steve! Well, things could be worse. At least you didn't take up Chainsaw juggling or knife throwing with some road show. Stick to Photography. :-P

If cost is no problem, i'd probably go...
