    Sorry Ari, I can not attest to other fixers. He mentioned KCN for fixer and pigment blue is a byproduct of the oxidation process of ferrous ferrocyanide salts.

    Usually this one. Rinse plate completely prior to KCn.

    Developer (acidic) + KCN fixer = Prussian Blue and Cyanide Gas. :eek:

    Received my 8x10 and 5x7. Some assembly nit with the 8x10. The tape wasn’t cut cleanly, nothing a sharp razor can’t handle.

    Looking forward to trying it out soon.

    Glass from Home Depot are not 1.5mm smaller. I can cut glass plates to size but I'm clumsy and I have sensitive skin. :rolleyes:

    I've gotten use to seeing images on the ground glass upside down so no need to flip it. :rolleyes: :cool:
