Re: Pano LF or enlarged crop

I photograph using a dedicated 4x10" camera, buy film from Ilford's yearly ULF run, and contact print in a small darkroom. I love the little prints, they look lovely in the hand, but are lost on a...
  5. Re: 121mm f8 Super Angulon in Synchro Compur lens board size

I have two versions of the 121mm SA lens. The first is in an integrated lens/shutter which requires a 52.5mm lensboard hole. I then subsequently purchased a Copal 0 version.
  6. Re: First 4x10 development - more uneven development

Sorry, need to clairfy. I leave my negatives emulsion side up. They are presoaked in water beofre I slip into the developer. I then start my timer. I agitate continuously for the first minute, by...

I used a Cambo monorail for landscape work for about five years. I carried the standards, with attached bellows in a Lowepro mini trekker, and carried the rail separately. It was a little bit of a...

Mr Cad's web page is several years out of date (the large format anyway - not sure regarding the rest).

    Re: 4x10 reducing backs?

As has been said previously, Ilford cut FP4+ and HP5+ to 4x10 and some places might have some in stock. Bergger cut the BPF200 to 4x10, and Fotoimpex (or retrophotographic in the UK) are able to get...

Re: 4x5 readyload in 4x10 camera

The only drawback is that the front swing and shift are controlled by the same lever (under the standard), which is fine and dandy when the camera is horizontal.

    When composed in portrait format...

Re: 4x5 readyload in 4x10 camera

    Jetcode,

Will the 4x5 reducing back be constrained to one orientation?

As that is the way the 5x7 reducing back works on the 410 camera.
  33. Re: Sorry, I didn't pay attention - 5x7, 13x18 12x16.5?

I have FP4+ in 13x18cm sheet - and this I believe is stock, i.e. it is cut by ilford as one of the standard sizes, and not in the yearly ULF orders.

HP5+, on the other hand is not listed by ilford...
