Contrary to popular belief, the CC-402 will take a 65mm lense on a flat board. I've used one on mine many times even with some movements.

I have one with the color head....bought it for $50 several years ago. I use it to enlarge 4x10 negatives.

I shoot 4x10 because of the fact you can cut 8x10 film in half. I also have a 10x10 enlarger and make 8x20 prints.
Trains are my favorite subject. The scans aren't very good, but here are a few of mine.
Jeremy, did the Texas Church Project include Tennessee? The above photo was taken in Del Rio, Tennessee.
Calumet 4x5, 90mm lens
I live in Maryville, TN about 30 min. from Farragut and I would definitely make it Autumn or Winter. I don't think we have a rain/mud season any more.
I have one similar sitting in my darkroom. It's an old process camera used in the graphic and printing industry before computers. This one was given to me several years ago just to haul it off. It...

Gilley's Hotel, Bulls Gap, TN. 4X10, Tmax 400, pyrocat hd.
Russell Crowe as Walker Evans
About the only movement I use is front rise, sometimes as much as the camera will allow with the bellows compressed for that lens. I usually shoot between f/11 and f/32. I basically use it just like...
I've used this lens for years on 4x5 and never experienced vignetting even with movements.

I took this about ten years ago in Byrson City, NC. I kind of made a project for five months or so taking pictures of this little steam engine using a 4x5 camera. I became friends with the engineers...
Just about the time I was starting in the darkroom, I read an article in a photo magazine that cautioned against the danger of blotting paper becoming contaminated.
If the prints are washed...

You can make a pretty nice one from the cheap loupes by adding an extension . I made this one from a $3.00 loupe and used epoxy to glue an inch tube on the end. I couldn't afford the expensive ones...
Don't forget to throw in a hammer and chizel and maybe a crowbar to make all this stuff fit together nicely.
I load my holders after cutting the film. I don't see any need to notch the film even if you store it in a box, just put it in the box face up. If you think it might get mixed up, just make a...
Michael, I've never had any problems you mentioned when cutting film. I always cut face up, could be a possibility of scratches face down...but I don't know since I 've never done it that way. When...
This is what I use to cut 4x10.
"We photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing, and when they have vanished, there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again. We cannot develop and print a...
I used to have this same problem. I now use two or more passes instead of trying to cut through with one single pass....just lower the blade a little more on each pass....no more ruined mat boards.
You can probably get help on the Apug forum (www.apug.org). They have a panorama section on the forum with quite a few cirkut users.
Hey, look on the bright side....the world might end tomorrow.
That's just a process camera used in the graphic industry before computers days. Most screen printing and offset printing shops either end up junking them or giving them away. My business gave one...
Hugo asked why anyone would want an 8x10 enlarger. I bought mine for enlarging 4x10 negatives to 8x20 prints. I also use it for 5x7.
You might try some of the government agencies in your area. I bought a nice Omega 10x10 with several lenses, 3 easels, etc. for $50.00 from TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority).
It's much easier to just soak the prints in trays and use no running water.
We have a local gallery that lists the photographers and statements. Just go to artists and click on the highlighted names. You might get some ideas.

Bravo Joseph! Let the film is dead peddlers start their own forum instead of trying to shove it down everybody elses throat.
It seems that some people simply WISH that film would go away and grab every little tidbit they come across and post it on some forum to discourage everyone else. As already stated, there is plenty...
The thread is gone but the people that caused the thread to be deleted by breaking the rules of the forum are still free to do it again and again. I f your going to have rules, then enforce...
I tried some pinhole 5x7 stuff a few years ago and film developer worked better for me then the paper developer.....better tonal range and less contrast.
Another vote for the Luna Pro SBC in incident mode. I shot some pictures inside the old Tennesse Theater in Knoxville, Tn. It was so dark I had to use a flash light to see the lens settings. My spot...
Keh has one listed for $172.00. It is "bargain condition", but the picture they show looks pretty good. You could call them and find out more as to condition. www.keh.com is the website.
I have a Schneider 210mm and a Fujinon 90mm with the Schneideritis. It dosen't effect picture quality but it might hurt the resale of the lens.
