That's a good one, Rick!
Good job, Bryan!
Tuco, good catch on the chins! I don't know who the people are, but people on my town's Facebook group are adding them. Good question about the orientation. This is how it was displayed in the...
I just scanned this print today.

I think it's an 8th grade class...
Good one, Randy!
Great suggestion, Dave!
Looks like light source fall off. Try scanning in two strips, centering each one on the light source and then stitching together.
Nicely done, Scott!
Here's a scan of a selenium-toned, fiber-based print. Camera was a Rolleiflex 3,5 Automat.

Tip: try to have one tripod leg going forward. It's very easy to bump one if it's situated between your feet.
I 2nd Len's suggestions. I've dealt with both, and I've been very happy with their products, services, and prices.
Ken Hough might know who still does this. He used to, but I believe he's stopped doing so.
That one has an interesting look to it, Jon.
Thanks, Daniel. I do have a Speedotron black line Fresnel. I'll give it a try as a key light, especially if I get around to using SF lenses. I'll check out the video. Thanks!
Thanks, Tuco. I'm working on the lighting setup today.
Daniel, I wish I had on of those and an 8x10 Sinar back.... I use a Sinar 4x5 back on that camera, as that allows the bino viewer.
Thanks, Jonathan! I've been playing around....the Sinar bino reflex viewer sure is slick, but I only have one for 4x5.
Almost ready to take some 8x10 portraits with both film and paper.

Next step, check...
Well, it would be non-trivial for someone who's not an electrical devices expert. Ok, maybe it just wouldn't be trivial for me.
Interesting project, John. I have one of the 180- f/3.2s. That would be a pretty complicated endeavor, though.
Thanks, Randy!

Lots of good stuff in this thread. Good work!
It's great that these can be repaired! An alternative for those who don't have one of those: an inexpensive sous vide heater and a container.
Pliobond is a traditional choice.
I bought a rifle recently. The owners manual warned of storing it long term in a gun case. My guess is because foam and similar will likely leach nasty fumes.
Thanks, Michael.
It sounds like a phenidone/ascorbate developer, but that's just a guess.
That's a great one, Jon!
Thanks, Randy!
Thanks, Randy. What does the Calumet wire support look like?
I'm getting closer to getting my Century No. 7 ready to take 5x7 and 8x10 portraits. This will be done in my living room, and not a dark studio. As such, it's be nice to keep extraneous light off...
Sinar lines will easily wash off...don't ask how I know....
Great idea, Ron. There's a laser engraver at the local library that I can use.
Thanks, Randy. The lens seems ok, although the band that holds the metal lens cap got wrecked. The rest of the lens seems ok, but only time will tell.
Yesterday, I cleaned out my office at UW Fox Valley. That led to my bringing my Agfa/Ansco studio stand home. I put my Kodak Century No. 7 camera on it. I'd like to do some portraits with 8x10...
Fomapan 400 + Rodinal, pushed a stop.
Thanks, Jon!
