Does anyone (US) have any spare ones? I'll pay! (paypal)
Does anyone know where I can find a Calumet 4x5 viewfinder? After running a couple of searches I've only found viewfinders for Toyo, Linhof and Horseman.
Im sending the keh one back, and took a tape measure and jigsaw to the non-returnable eBay one and I got it to fit perfectly! Power tools! :D
Two weeks ago I bought a lens board for my 4x5 Calumet LF from an ebay seller. The lens board that I received measured 6.5" x 6.5", which is too large for my camera which requires a 4" x 4" lens...
I can't find a Marchioni or a Leitz online anywhere. Any suggestions?
What about a head?
Would Tiltall be the brand to go with if I'm looking for a tripod at or under $200?
Gotcha. Okay, starting to make sense. My lens is a copal no. 1; does this translate to a 33, 34, 39, 41, or 54 hole?
I bought a lens board on ebay only to find out it's much to big for my Calumet 4x5. The seller specified that the board is made for a Calumet 4x5, it says "Calumet" across the top, but the lens board...
What is your favorite filter brand? Do you find major differences in quality between brands such as Hoya and B+W and less expensive ones?
Memphis.
"Measured roughly" is putting it lightly ;)
Hello all!
I'm wondering if and where you shop online for 4x5 film. I've searched ebay, keh, bh, etc, and found film to be priced pretty regularly across the board. Are there deals to be found...
There's a seller on ebay selling a lens board at a steal. I don't think he knows what he's selling as I've asked him what copal it is and he hasn't responded, though he did post a photo of himself...
Where is the best place to develop/print in Memphis, tn?
Thank god! Ebay has amazing deals on filters so I shouldn't have a problem finding all I need. Thanks for the info :)
One additional question... How do LF filters work? Do they screw onto the lens itself like slr lenses or do they require a holder? I would hate to be unable to use a circular polarizer.
Sweet! That's what I'll do then. Thanks for all of the help :)
Once again, all of you are awesome people.
How about this lens?

Also can anyone point me in the direction of a cheap tripod? Emphasis on cheap. I'm trying to get everything I need in a couple months for a trip. I can buy a sturdier one later.
Alright, so it looks like I'm going to get the calumet rail and try my best to find one of the lenses you mentioned.
Thanks to everyone for replying to this thread. I love how helpful everyone is. Another forum I frequently check is head-fi.org (audiophile forum) and the people there are generally JERKS. Thanks to...
I just found a Calumet monorail without a lens or lensboard for $129. Would that plus a Schneider Xenar 150mm for $100 be a good combo?
After shooting weddings for three years I want to return (at least in my free time) to what I got into photography ten years ago for in the first place: landscape. I know that the only way to go...
