I am wondering if the 210 kowa will cover 5x12/...what is the diagonal /... the kowa has a 380mm ic ...it might just...but a computar will do you better.........a 210 kowa sold for 600.00 on this...

a 210 kowa graphic will give you everthing you want...much more image cirle than a g claron.... and about 400 to 500 on e bay.....

hi.....i had a couple of 240 computars...and kowas.....and noted that the lenses were different lengths when mounted in a shutter[ 3s]...and when mounted in a barrel... i believe the consensus for...

the 400.00 for all 3 lenses is a bit low....if the 24 inch is a late serial # in an aluminum barrel, it will bring more tha 400.00 itself.....if a 79xxxxxxx , brass barrel, with flange...from 275.00...

the 210 g claron, as noted will cover 8x10 when stopped down, and used with a little care .....the other lightweight contender is the 210 graphic kowa....usually about 500.00 in a copal 1...

possibly not really addressing your main question...but 4 months ago, at SFMOMA, i was delighted to see a very large Lois Conner triple print ...from her travels in China from nearly 20 years...

it does come off...............for lack of proper tools, i use a rubber jar opener in my left hand to hold the shutter....and then a large channel lock pliers, 12 inch i think, with the grip teeth...

another vote for the 305 computar, for 12x20....anybody shooting the 305 graphic kowa on 12x20.?..they look like the same lens to me...i know the 240 computar, 270 computar...and many [but not all]...

here is a vote for the 210 graphic kowa.....covers 8x10 with 45mm movement....the 210 computar/ kyvytar is nice too...has 460mm i.c....goes for 1000.00 used....so the kowa is 1/2 that. in a #1...

any one know the value of a 315mm carl zeiss jena protar, in copal 3 shutter?....anyone ever shot with one?...thanks for any info...i havn't found out much on google....i am being offered one in...
