Fantastic responses!
Ok, thanks.
Hello,
I have a lens in a Synchro-Compur shutter and I want to mount it on a Linhof lens board. But I cannot lay the shutter flat on the board because of a screw that is sticking out of the back...
Thanks a lot. I'll ping him.
I did. I found the instructions impossible to follow. I couldn't even take the cover off. Anyone good out there?
I was wondering if anyone knew of any reliable, large format specialists who could adjust a Kalart rangefinder on a Busch Pressman for a specific (135mm) lens that I have. The Kalart is in great...
Thanks for this, Bob. Invaluable.
what is incomplete, Bob, or was that a joke? thanks
Wow, this is all so helpful. Thanks everyone.
If I owned a Linhof Technika IV or V, would I be able to get a new cam specially made for a lens, who would do it, and how much would it cost (roughly)?
Many thanks!
I have a non metered camera and its bellows are larger.
Ooops, I should have said that I am talking about 8x10 bellows.
Hi,
A while back, I bought some Sinar wide angle bellows for my Sinar F. The front frame of the bellows fits fine, but the rear frame of the bellows is too small for the rear frame of the camera....
the reason: i have a graphic already that works so well. i just need to learn how to swap the RF cams from 135mm to 90mm.
Thanks so much for the advice.

Thanks a lot for the feedback.
A follow-up question:
What, in anyone's experience, is the best performing 90mm that CAN fit inside a closed Crown/Speed Graphic. Don't care too much about...
Hi all,
I wondered whether the Nikkor 90mm sw f8 is small enough that you can fit it on Crown or Speed Graphic and close up the camera, obviously with no cramming. Has anyone here actually put...
14 - that is awesome and wholly understandable.
In 35mm and MF, I rarely shoot more than 2 focal lengths. I can't imagine it'll be much different for LF. So maybe the solution will be 2 Graphics with differently-calibrated, working RF's, and more...
Leigh,
I'll bear that in mind. The RF seems to be the real draw of this camera, so I really want it to work out. I want to lug this thing around and shoot without a tripod if need be.
Best,...
Len,
Thanks for the further insights. On my probation officer, I just hope she doesn't read this forum.

Len,
Thanks for the follow up. It's the first one. It seems to be very broken. The RF doesn't move at all when I push and pull the plunger. Also, there was some very thin copper wire up near the...
Len,
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that and it didn't move the two images in the RF. That's not a good sign. I will stop by Nippon Photo Clinic or call Essex Camera to see if they think it's...
Thanks, Leigh.
Sorry, I meant rack not lens board in my original post. The plunger has detached from the bracket on the rack. So my question would be: Is that a relatively simple fix? Has anyone...
Hi Everyone,
I am having a great time with my Crown Graphic. I decided to try and use the rangefinder (the TOP-MOUNTED one). It isn't working -- the two images don't move at all when focusing. The...
Thanks, Bill, for the insights. So, not much use as a portrait lens, then....
Thanks a lot. Yes, it is a 4x5. I will see whether its name is as described when I go and handle it tomorrow.

Hello Folks,
I was wondering about two things concerning the Graflex Tele-Xenar 360mm/38cm f/5.6:
1/ Is it suitable for the Crown Graphic; i.e. will that camera's bellow length in any way...
