check out some parts of the pine barrens. Some great small river (Batsto and Mullica) shooting, birds, good mists off the cranberry bogs, lots to shoot.

    Re: Light-Proofing a Bathroom

This is exactly what I do as well. (alright, not 'exactly', the velcro is stuck onto the door frame with adhesive, it's only stapled to the cloth). Works fantastically well.

  23. Re: Cheapest NYC to EU flights -- what time of the year, airline, advice?

Iceland Air used to be the cheapest I'd ever found, but I don't know what it's like now. The flights would go through Reyjavik (sp?) and on to Amsterdam or Copenhaven. I'm sure British Airways will...

Forgot to mention these are both on Fotospeed Lith paper with LD20, 25:25:1000 with 40ml of old brown.
  27. Re: Does the neg size matter for lith printing?

I lith print every size neg from 35mm to 8x10. There's a definite difference in graininess, though I don't know that it's enough to really worry about. Here's a lith of an 8x10 contact print (the...

Re: Determing the f/stop of a lens

Aperture diameter divided by focal length. A 25mm aperture opening on a 50mm lens would be f2. (really f 1/2, but the numerator is usually dropped)

Or is the lens you have a barrel lens with no...

Welcome to the asylum. It doesn't really matter which 4x5 you get, as it's just a stepping stone to 8x10, and then 11x14. :)
