I recently converted the halogen lamp in my chromega to 120V with a 300W 120V halogen bulb. It works fine when plugged directly into a wall outlet, but when I attempt to use it with a timer, it blows...
I have a Chromega D2 that I put a dichroic head on a few years back. Lately the prints were getting less sharp, and the cooling fan seemed to be on the way out as it was vibrating more than usual. I...
See here for plans.
I came across some plans for DIY daylight safe BTZS tubes. I've been meaning to make a few for 8x10, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
The center hole is just to run a small screw into the baseboard, just to hold it in place while you're trying to mount the column to the plate.

What 210 are you using that can cover 8x10? What size enlargements are you doing?
I ask primarily since I just got a beseler 45 mcrx to convert to an 8x10 enlarger. The lensboard is so small that...
I'm in the process of setting up a fotar 10x10 vertical enlarger, but it didn't come with a lensboard. From what I can tell, it seems to use a lensboard system similar to the durst vapla's. There are...
