Re: Remove APO Nikkor front element

In the photo I removed the ring with lettering on it. Whats left looks like its inside the barrel. Not sure how you get that off.

    Remove APO Nikkor front element

Anyone know how to remove the front element of a 610mm APO Nikkor? I removed the rear two relatively easily. I don't see where a spanner would go on the front.

    Thanks

  10. Re: Where to buy 90mm filters for a Rodenstock 300mm f5.6 Sironar-N lens?

I picked up some 95mm B+W and Heliopan filters at KEH. I use step down rings for most lenses. I thought 95mm was big until I put circular filter on my 72mm SA XL. Now I wish I could find used 110mm...

  12. Re: SINAR Norma System C.Koc VS Toyo VX VS Arca Swiss F

  16. Re: Nikkor AM 210mm reproduction range on 8x10

I was wondering if it had a range like the Rodenstock 210mm Macro Sironar which goes 1:3 to 3:1.

I bought one:cool: but it won't mount in a standard copal 3 hole. I'll either have to harass the seller or get SK Grimes to make me something. I can't use the spacer either.

Anyone here have a Cooke XVa in a shutter?
Were you able to mount it to a standard copal 3 lensboard or did you need to enlarge the hole?
Did you use the copal 3 shutter spacer?

I used it on a Wista SP. You do have to be careful when mounting it. Also it will hit the bellows when using a lot of rise.
