ImSoNegative, thanks.
A few landscapes from my first trip into the wild with a LF camera (8x10 DIY, weighs a heck of a ton :) . The Rila Mountain Range in Bulgaria, all shots have been taken above 6000ft altitude, which...
My first experiments into cyanotypes. I love the look of other alternative processes, but I find that the cyanotype is a nice start, and something I can build on.

A landscape from yesterday. When I arrived at the lake, the clouds had cast magnificent shadows right beyond the tree, but by the time I set up for a shot, they had gone and after 1/2 hour waiting...

This winter, I spent a great deal of time at home, so I had little chance of taking portraits of anyone but my family and me. So this one I think I haven't shown:...
My dad as an "intellectual" :D
5x7 paper negative on ilford multigrade; blown out highlights due to scanner...
Reversal processing of RA-4 paper can be done in color, but in B/W, I doubt it. Though you can do the negative on color paper and then print on B/W?
You can also develop it as a panchromatic b/w film, but it gives a pretty low Dmax - probably suited for contrasty scenes though ;)
PS: on my blog there are several portraits on RA-4 paper, all exposure times are below 3.5secs
So far I just scan and invert, because my color paper stash is too low to use to make prints as well, and i would guess I will use up a lot of in experimenting. I'm sure that with a color enlarger...

Jackpie,
i'm glad you like it! This is a color paper negative on Kodak Endura paper, probably 6 or 7 years old. The RA-4 dev and the blix were decanted from a processor at a local minilab, so I...
It's not much of an artistic image, but this it my first color still life. Shot on Kodak Supra Endura as a paper negative

Scott, the double exposure is on old ORWO lith film. The film is very fogged and contrasty, but shot at 3 asa, it gives pleasant tones and contrast.

Well, I started out about a year and a half ago with a 35mm SLR, shot mostly color and had it processed by the photo-lab. Slowly, I took up developing and printing my photographs and moved up to...
I've posted several photos in the image-sharing section. BTW, I forgot to add that the film and plate holders are also DIY
