No idea. :)
I'm pretty sure anyone who's been to Kyoto, Japan will recognize this place. It's not my best image but I think I'll print it big (20x24") and hang it on my wall anyways.

I don't even own a 5x7" camera but I've pledged my $97 + shipping to this project. Once I have this I think I've worked out one of my major concerns with shooting 5x7", next up is buy a camera &...
That is the best image I've seen in this thread, great work!
It's autumn here, although exceptionally mild (20°C/68°F) this late of season. The trees are getting very pretty, this is very close to my apartment. It's almost too much color for my taste (I like...
One more, taken the same evening as above. Chamonix 045N-2, Nikkor-W 135 mm, Adox CHS 100 II, Adox Adonal. No print yet.

Maris, I really, really like the dream like qualities of that print. Well executed and printed!
If you want a copy I can send you a processed tif? I might have some computer time tomorrow evening (local time here is morning).
Is this a landscape? I don't know but I like it anyways. A building being torn down. Scan but I think I'll print it at some point.

As for the notes - didn't his darkroom & studio burn down at one point in the 1940'ies? Might explain the lack of good notes...

Any format? Even digital? ;)
I'm pretty new to all this hiking but I really like it. I recently climbed the highest peak in the country (which isn't very high) and brought my DSLR with me, some...
Thank you everyone for the greetings! :)

Hi,
I've been a member for a few years but didn't get into LF until less than a year ago, when I bought my (first) Chamonix. Shooting large format felt like a natural development from shooting 35...
Took a trip to the highest peak (not pictured) in this country. Took some time to climb but it was fun, at least in retrospective.

Managed some darkroom printing this weekend. It was 27°C in my kitchen while printing this, but it came out pretty ok.
I don't shoot very much digital these days, and when I do I like to convert them into b&w, but sometimes color is just so...nice. Took this the other evening in our living room.

I just saw this thread and recognized the original poster - Philip has since sold this camera to me and I'm doing my best to put it to good use ;)
It's a beauty.
Make sure you are looking at the right film, it sounds like you've taken a look at Adox CMS and not Adox CHS II, these are very different films!
Thank you!
The 'Old City' (Gamla Linköping) is located between the downtown and the University, this picture is taken from one of the café's in there.

6x9" print on 8x10" Adox MCC. I love split-grade printing.
Print on Ilford MGIV, pre-flash and some burn in masks to bring the highlights down into usable tones. I'm pretty happy with this print myself.

Miguel, next time you make a digital composite like this, I think that you can do a better job. The first step would be to make sure that all parts of the image are in the same scale, and not one...
I made a 12x16" print of this the other way, Ilford MGIV sure is matt in it's matt surface!
