You can expect good close-up performance and not-so-good performance at infinity. Enlarging lenses are well corrected at close up distances....:)

Does anybody know how to clean old fixer residues (black!) off the insides of plastic bottles and containers???. I can not reach it...

I use X-TOL and ADOX CHS-film. I always presoak and i dont know if it is a problem not to... However the anti-halation layer on the ADOX film is purple, and it is just not right to pour purple...

Just curious, the colour of the light from my VLS 501-head is very different from the colour from my MG-filters using my condenser-head. However the contrast is almost the same...

Just happened to read this thread and learned about your problems. Try mounting your condensors correctly. They should be mounted flush with the bottom of the Femocap condensor-holder....

I dont think that is a problem. Developing to a lower contrast means that you have to do a new calibration if you use the zone system, but after that is done you will get fine...
