    Re: Printing large

You know what they say about guys with big enlargers...big prints! :) So, that video was fascinating, but I have a question: How do you get even development? Doesn't the paper stick to itself and...

Re: I think I found my next LF hauler!

I'd be interested in seeing your Alice pack mod. I have an Alice pack that I don't know what to do with since it's really too heavy for backpacking.
  3. Re: Anyone use the B&W King 5x7 (or 4x5) developing reel & tank (Nikor-like)?

Unrelated question -- when you load your film, do you push it beyond the bar? I didn't, and rotating it the wrong way caused the film to pull itself partway out. Pushing it beyond the bar keeps it...
  4. Re: how to lubricate the darkslide

I happen to have beeswax laying around for creating paper negatives. Thanks for the tip!
  5. Re: suggestions on cleaning Fidelity deluxe film holder

Thanks, all. Some good suggestions. I do have access to a compressor. I'll try blasting it first, then the taped upholstery attachment.
  6. suggestions on cleaning Fidelity deluxe film holder

I bought some film holders (either from here or eBay, I can't recall) and one of them must have been used on a beach shoot because it's full of fine white sand. Before I trash it, I was wondering if...
  7. Re: Anyone use the B&W King 5x7 (or 4x5) developing reel & tank (Nikor-like)?

I used mine for the first time last weekend, and I also noticed the slight rusting when I broke it out this week. I'm not sure from the translation if a replacement part is available for purchase or...

I actually did that myself when I was about 15. For some reason I assumed it would be more involved with what I assumed was probably glass negatives. I put mine and my friend's face over kirk and...

This might be a dumb question, but could you put one of these on your enlarger to correct for edge/corner falloff?

  28. Re: Bellows install on a Korona 5x7 - hard? Easy? Somewhere in between?

Hi Kent - I'm trying to determine for Keith the "working extension" of the bellows, but my Korona doesn't have the rear rail attachment. Do either of yours? I'm trying to get that max measurement...

Does your camera bellows really go over the rear frame? Mine is tacked inside the rear frame.
  31. Re: Bellows install on a Korona 5x7 - hard? Easy? Somewhere in between?

I'm dumb and I cut it up a bit....but I got a price from Keith and for 189 bucks US plus shipping he will do the job. So I'm toying with saving myself the aggravation.
  32. Re: Bellows install on a Korona 5x7 - hard? Easy? Somewhere in between?

So..to reopen this thread...my wife got me a new bellows on Ebay from china, I believe. It looks well-made, and it says it's for a Korona 5x7, however as it sits, the front of the bellows is too...
