    Just changing the lamp to a hi intensity lamp won't get you the most brighness. Hi intensity cold lights have a larger transformer.

    I use a aristo v54 hi and ilford under lens filters. I Get contrasts from 0 to 5. Also have a zone vI stabalizer and schneider componon s lens. I use oriental select vc cold tone.

    Calumet sells levels for calumet & cambo cameras that work on 2 axis. You can use silicon rubber to put on. Easy to remove.

    Look thru a 25x microsight at the grain and stop down I found f8 to be the sharpest.

    The best f stop for the schnieder is f8. I have a 75 mm komutanon, very good lens, it has a resolution in excess of 228 line pair,very sharp lens.

    I have always used 5x7 tray for 4x5 film, no problems at all. agitate so every film gets moved from bottom to top every 30 seconds.

    A 13 ft scamp weighs 1000 lbs. It is lighter than most if not all popups. A casita is far heaver than a scamp. And it does not need to be set up, very handy when you need a bathroom fast.
