  1. The Vanishing Cultures - An American Portrait

I was just visiting some polish sites devoted to photography and found this: http://thevanishingcultures.com/
And I thought it may be interesting for LFPF members. Actually it is not large format...
  2. Re: Forgot the name of that photographic magazine

Yes, it was Lenswork. And the photographer's name is Robb Kendrick.
    Thank you!
  3. Forgot the name of that photographic magazine

It was a couple of years ago, when I saw some excellent examples of daguerrotype photographs in a periodical publication. Contemporary portraits of cowboys, but made on tintypes.
    The problem is that...

Re: What did you compose at Water’s Edge?

Ken, I’m far away from making conclusion that 5x7 format can’t beat DSLR. It is just much more difficult to make a good picture with LF camera and the possibility for making mistakes is much...

Re: What did you compose at Water’s Edge?

Yes, it may look sharp here at this small size, but I would expect from 5x7 format much more in terms of quality (sharpness mainly), than from DSLR. And if I enlarge this picture on my screen, it...
