I've used Phil Davis BTZS tubes for years in 4x5 and now starting 8x10. Minimum developer per 4x5 is 2 oz (60 mL) and for one 8x10 sheet it's 4 times as much - 8 oz (240 mL). As far as dilution, I...

You have the most interesting imagination. Thank you for posting your many images in this thread.

No way to use these apps as an incident meter I suppose?
Sally Mann. Surprised she was not mentioned yet.
One of my all time favorites.

Kodak recommends a dark red GBX-2 safelight filter, which absorbs everything less than 600 nm wavelength:

1. A red LED bulb is safe for xray. Kodak tech info sheet recommends 15 watt bulb with kodak GBX filter which is dark red I think?

I searched on dental film hangers and found these. I've used them for a while and they work great. Notice the curved hook on one end and a pointed clip on the other which holds the very edge of the...

Don't bother with Adams' method. Davis method is much superior.
You do not need to test for each lens or each aperture. Film speed is determined by 1. film type and 2. development (developer...

Cheers!
You are right, I did not look closely enough; most posts ARE prefaced appropriately.

hello,
Is it possible to close a thread or edit the title?
In the Buy/Sell section I often end up opening things that are gone already.
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean. I've used BTZS tubes for years and I do not see this type of issue.
Cheers!

I love this picture. It is very soulful.

So you can develop and handle under red safelite?
(Sorry this is all new to me)
Cheers
Mike
I would prefer to use 8x10 BTZS tubes also. Do you strip before fixing? after washing? (Sorry if this has been described already, I am still working my way through this monster thread!)
Thanks, Mike

Plotter is one of my all-time favorite programs. Used it extensively. Thanks very much for a great bit of software.
