    Hugo, you do need some sort of photo editing software to deal with the scanned image. The price is about 300 to 400, I think. Yep, I just tape the film directly on the glass, for 4X5, it has holders....

    Microtek I90 is also a good choice. What I do is to put the negative emulsion side against glass, tape down the corners, no newton ring, just remember to flip it in PS after scan. Use low resolution...

    hi, guys,

    I finally developed my negatives using Pyrocat MC 2 bath method.

    Here is how I did it.

    pre-soak for 3 minutes
    solution A (1:20) for 5 minutes
    solution B (1:20) for 8 minutes...

    It looks really good developed in Ansco 130 1:1 for about 2 minutes. Toning in selenium 1:15 doesn't have any color change, only the D-max is slightly improved, the paper itself is about neutral...

    Nancy, I ended up using 1/16 inch thick brass, about 1 inch wide, dose the job perfectly. I found it in my local machine shop. They use a roller press to make it curve.
