    you can also meter your hand facing the sky in shadow and stop down two stops. This would place it in zone 4.

    Do not have someone else do you testing for you, because if you agitate you film differently or you use a slitely different developer or any other situation, you system index will be different.

    If you can find a copy of Arnold gasson's handbook of Photography it it tells how to do all the tests on parimetrics etc. It is how Graves learned. Also Minor Whites book.

    Also, If your system is not what everyone elses is, then go with it. Your's is what is important. If they print well then go for it. What good is technology if the subject stinks.

    I understand that 1.2 over base +fog is the proper density for your negitive. This is according to Gassons handbook of Photo and Whites book, Tytle excapes me. God drilled it into me years ago.
