    The Schneider Componon-S 135 and 150 both perform better at 3X >6x>12x. The MTF curves are very similar except at the far edge of the 135.

    Personally, I think the best 5x7 enlarger made was the Durst 1300.

    If these are darkroom prints, I'd have to charge thousands. That is a lot of work even with an assistant.

    If providing inkjet prints I'd ditch the 8x10, use a DSLR and make money on the deal.

    Spacing of the elements can alter flatness of field. For distant images, you might need to experiment with the best spacing to get center and edges sharp for your purposes.

    I stopped selenium toning about 20 years ago when I switched to Ilford MG FB as it did not seem to do anything to that paper. Maybe I'm missing something.

    Do you have an enlarging lens?

    I did not create these files. I just downloaded the files and sent them to a printing facility for black resin. I'm very happy with the result.
