Not LF (i mean i'm going to shoot Fomapan 200 with a Rolleiflex) but still Fomapanish so i'd ask here. Does Fomapan 200 need yellow filter for portrait? The model'd skin tone is brown chocolate.
One thing to bear in mind is Fomapan (100) doesnt favor overagitate and overdevelop.
This reminds me of one case right here a few years ago. One reputed member posted a thread in the sub forum (either lens and accessories or for sale/wanted - i dont remember exactly) warning about a...
I guess there must be a way to manually operate it. Havent had time to investigate more. It's fcking heavy! I moved my house 4 times in the last three years and each time it's god damn nightmare to...
Is there any 108s enlarger? Its the AF model of 8x10 enlarger and i'm having an incomplete one. Havent had time to fix it. Not sure if it would need some original parts.
A fabulous portrait of a fabulous woman. My condolence Randy.

Cooke knuckler IIB 325mm full soft (3). 8x10 Delta 100 in Xtol 1+2.
A bit blurry but still acceptable (with me).

Lovely images lovely studio Christopher :)
Yes I would try it anyway :D The roll film I intended to play with is not really important, but it's all portrait for a friend and I dont want to tell her to have a shooting again, so I will just...
The reason is simple: why not? It's fun, and I'm after some special effects, like very high acutance or strange tonality... due to the staining effect.
In my theory low temperature + high diluted...
I'm about to experiment with this. Pyro HD 1:1.5:200, pre wash then put it in the fridge (likely 4-6 deg celsius), agitate twice a day (each 12 hours). Anyone tried this before may give me a starting...
You can rate tmax400 at 3200 and develop accordingly. I do it quite a few times and always got printable negatives.
Right on time. I bet Chamonix designed (or actually just copied) and finished this model for quite awhile but only release it after Ebony's retiring announcement
Is it about 24.5 cm high and 13.2 cm hood diameter? If so I think I have a same lens as yours.
Did you pre-flash it? Looks like you didnt...
High diluted developer?
Am i the only one who tried to load the paper into holder (8x10 Fidelity Elite) but failed because its too tight? Needed about 2mm cut off.
To those who have used this lens. I've heard that the fan acts like a center filter. But in real life is it really necessary to use it?
And is it possible to focus a Hypergon 90mm on a Chamonix...
I have an 8x10 Chamonix and I couldnt use a 125mm lens. Had to borrow my friend's Agfa 8x10 and made a recessed board.
Thanks a bunch! I'm just start doing this so I think I will keep it as simple as possible. One 90mm lens with some Ektar first. Then buy a wider lens and try the Fuji NPS later.
Thanks for advices. What if its a small room about 10m2? 65 would be useful?
Im pretty sure that 160 NS is the only color negative film available in 4x5 from Fuji now.
Btw i already have two boxes of Ektar.
I'm start doing this kind of photography. Which film choice is the best? Provia, Velvia or Ektar?
It would be on 4x5. I will borrow my friend's Grandagon 90mm f6.8 and buy a Fujinon SWD 65mm soon.
Thank you guys, a lot. Now I know what should be in my cart.
Thanks. Now the headache has started!
Which one is more accurate and which one is easier to calibrate?
As title. I'm thinking about purchasing one 4x5 Crown (or Speed for the ability of using fast barrel lenses) Graphic for handheld works. Someone with experiences could help me? After reasearching old...
Actually it's my friend's old Fidelity. Looks like I should handle it with care next time. Thanks all.
From the light trap? Hmm that makes sense.
Yesterday I processed two 8x10 sheets that I shot the day before. The first one came out ok, but the second one had light leak that I have no idea why and how it happened!
I feel a bit angry and...
Just saw this:
http://petapixel.com/2015/09/04/this-is-how-you-make-a-massive-4x5-foot-print-in-the-darkroom/
Looks like this guy using bare hands during the whole process. He did prewash and...
Thank you. I guess i will have to practice more.
The Dagor is nice for portrait but my 210, even at f45 has fall off (this can be solved when printing or scanning) and soft at corners (impossible...
I still remember your post in topic Show off your large format camera, with a Canham (pardon me if my memory fails me!) because you're the same age as my grandfather, 80-ish. And you're still...
Can you educate me how to do this? (correct vertical distortion?) I always thought those tilting lens board and baseboard on the enlarger is just for some special dof effects.
Shooting for my friend's zine Hanoi Panic, a non-profit zine focus on LGBT community in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Portrait of Hamin, a transgender.

Could be due to insufficient minimum stock solution per sheet. Next time you may try more stock solution and agitate a bit more vigorously.
Thomas you are cheating! Is that a painting?
Yes, sometimes unexpected and accidentally fuzzy is prefered. Here is an example. I like it much more than the sharp version.

How's about an Acratech? I heard good things about it. I'm wondering choosing it or the RRS BH 40, for 4x5.
I heard that the negative carriers from LPL 4x5 enlarger can be used for Omega D series 4x5 enlarger. But will the LPL 4x5 accept negative carriers from Omega D series? Any lightleak possible?
I also use the same head and that's my concern too!
