Prague is a wonderful city to photograph. I was there 2 years ago and I didn't have my 4x5 with me (too bad), but I shot digital and mf. For example:

Did you need any metal parts or did you just cut slots in the wood to attach to the camera?

I think the same paper is now being sold by Tiffen. The paper looks and feels the same, but the package is gray instead of Kodak yellow.
I run Nikon scan with my 9000 on a Mac with OS 10.5.1. It may not be optimized for the Intel processors or Leopard, but it does run.
I often carry-on a tripod on both domestic and international flights from the U.S. and I have never had a problem with the TSA.

Thanks!
I just purchased a 240mm lens on a copal #3 shutter and it appears to be missing the ring that would go between the shutter and the front of the lens board. Does anyone know where I can find this...
I use a Nikon 9000 on an Intel Mac Pro running Leopard. The Nikon scan software sometimes crashes, but otherwise it works fine.
I use Calypso for E-6. I don't believe they do C41 processing anymore.
BH Photo claims Kodak lens paper is no longer made. They now sell Tiffen lens paper which looks exactly the same except the package is gray and blue instead of Kodak yellow.
I've never been a fan of Velvia either. It might have been a more useful tool before scanning and the digital workflow, when color control with transparency film was more limited. I find it is much...
I mounted the singh-ray filter in a cokin filter holder. I actually had 2 of them, a 2 stop soft transition and a 2 stop hard transition.
Yes - it does look like a rectangular band that is out...
The small water drop theory seems to make the most sense. It is definitely on the film - I saw it first on a light table, so I know its not my scanner.
Thanks everyone.
That would make sense, except that I was up high above the water - like 50 feet up - where I took the shot. This was taken from the walkway at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in Big Sur, CA. I...
I don't have a scanner at home that can handle 4x5 film, so I trimmed a section out of one frame and scanned it with my medium format scanner. I scaled it down and sharpened it a bit in Photoshop to...
Thanks. I just checked my filters and they look fine. No bubbles or scratches. I haven't used them very much. I'm wondering if it is flare off the combination of 2 filters and the front of the...
I just my film back from the lab from my Labor day weekend shots. The one shot I made with no filters is razor sharp everywhere. However, every shot I made with nd grad filters seems to be...
Thanks. I looked through that and the data sheet for Polaroid 54. At least one problem may be working outside with a temperature of 50-60 degrees. I'll try adjusting the development time to...
Thanks for all the information. The camera is a Toyo 45AII and I've been using a 180mm lens. For Polaroids I use a 545 back that I picked up used. It seems to be in decent shape.
The white...
I'm new to large format photography and I'm still developing some basic skills. I've tried using a Polaroid back and Polaroid 54 film to get some instant feedback of my composition, use of filters,...
