Re: DIY Wehman Not for Profit

How far has this gone? I'd be interested, especially in a 5x7 model.

  5. Re: General Scientific Metra Scienar 24in f11 info.

    Anyone else?

Love to see some information on coverage/coatings/ etc if you've heard of this lens.

Thanks Louis, but I'm well aware that they're two different companies!
  6. General Scientific Metra Scienar 24in f11 info.

Going through some of my lenses today, and I came across something I wasn't familiar with.

Anyone have any info on General Scientific process lenses? I've done a few searches and haven't come up...

    Re: Linhof Serial Numbers

Sorry for the late reply here. Were two reducing backs made for the 5x7 Tech V? I've found one, but the guy states "it is the Shallow back that allows you to focus with the 5x7 in wide angle mode...

How about 2471131? Thanks in advance! Does anyone know if/why they switched from a chrome to a black front standard on the 5x7?
  10. Re: CatLABS quick review of Intrepid 8x10 camera

    1. We don't know he bought it with his own money
    2. A review isn't independent b/c you bought it with your own money
    3. Recouping your investment isn't selling something at twice the going rate.
  11. Re: CatLABS quick review of Intrepid 8x10 camera

Also, I'd keep in mind who the reviewer is and what his interests are. My interactions with him have been, unfortunately, less than stellar. And in my opinion, his knowledge of photography and...

    LF back question

Wondering if anyone knew what camera this back went to? I tried searching a few places w/o luck.

It's both stamped and stickered Burke and James, and measures 11 1/4 x 11 3/4. None of the usual...

Re: Voightlander Color Skopar 150mm 3.5

Actually, the Avus you linked had a 13.5cm lens....and it's a 4.5. I'm aware that Voigtlander made folders, hence the Bessa II I mentioned. It would be extremely odd for a 150mm to be on any folder,...

Re: Voightlander Color Skopar 150mm 3.5

I'm more asking about the manufacture of the this particular model, than lens design. I know they made these in regular stock up to 105mm (as in on the Bessa II), but I can't find anything above...
