Anyone Using - Quantum Free X Wire Units?

I have beat the c--p out of my pocketwizard plus units over the past 6-7 years. And they have always come back for more.

Great units, good battery life, reasonable prices.

Trading my Tech IV for a Super Graphic?

"so why don't you just get what you want?"

    Brian,

I get your point, but if that were the requirement for posting or not, there would be very little reason to even have internet forums.

Trading my Tech IV for a Super Graphic?

So this Tech IV I have is nice and all. But I just don't think I'm a Tech IV guy.

All the improvements/acessories are too expensive. Wide angles are a problem. The pop up hood is horrible.

    I...

Hmm, looks like $220 for that Linhof fresnel plus another $60 for a GG.

    Here's my Linhof GG.....what frensnel?

    http://brothersroot.com/josh/photos/jan06/linhofscreen.jpg

So here is my Linhof groundglass. Unless I am a total idiot, there is no fresnel. So help me out:

    1. What frensel sould I get?...
  7. Best budget option for brighter Tech IV screen?

I can 100% guarentee that there is no fresnel on this camera.

No idea why, but it just looks like there is a frosted groundglass that someone has marked out a 6x9 frame on with a thin paint pen.

  8. Best budget option for brighter Tech IV screen?

I just can't stand the focusing screen on this Tech IV that I am using. It is just too dim.

Given the replies to my previous Tech IV questions, here is what I see as my options:

    1. Linhof Super...
  9. Here's something I haven't done in 5+ years...

In reality, the only reason I ended up back in the darkroom is that I came across this Linhof kit, and I decided I wanted to shoot a project with it.

A couple of Linhof Tech questions...

The 90mm is currently on a recessed board (no idea which one), is this necessary? Could I use it for a 75mm if I pick one up at some point?

I'll look into that Satin Snow, I hadn't heard of that...

HELP--which color print film for a wedding?

Mind you, I don't shoot weddings. But NPS and NPH are my favorite color print films. The kodak films people have suggested are great also. It all comes down to a matter of opinion.

Well Sinar doesn't actually suck I suppose. But the difference for me between the two is enough to make it seem that way.
