I aim the sun, and measure the distance between the iris and the wall, focus lenth is 530mm, which is about 21in. Is there any chance of print mistake in Derogy's document?

I got a DEROGY lens, I'm sure it is a RR lens, but the the words on the barrel is "Eur. No.x" NOT "Apl. No.x", and also the aperture scale number on barrel is F6 NOT Apl's F8.

OLOR is arrived, I open both front and rear element......I think that lens is a APO-Tessar lens, because it has 5 glass: three in front and 2 in rear, but I'm not sure, 3+2 is Heliar?... and it cover...

I have a 165 eurynar and I use it in landscape photography. It's very very sharp, 300mm will cover lager than 8X10 format.

I can't post pictures in my office's computer. For single cell, it has three images in reflection(2 lighter, 1 darker), so I guess it contain two or three glass.

The set lens has 4 elements, No.5,6,7 and last one with no number but has "HERMAGIS Opt'n Fab't Bte Paris Aplanastimatique 1:6.8 F=310m/m" on the rim.
Lens is very heavy! More than 1kg.

The thickness of each group is 16-18mm, and the weight of whole lens is around 5-600g.
