Don't want to get in a political argument, but I'd be shocked if private companies had to pre fund their pension obligations 75 years into the future like the USPS is required to.
That was me. It expired in 1982, so it's over 30 years old. For reference, about 5 years ago, you could get the same thing for $45-50. Now it's $65.
I have a bulk roll of TX in 35mm, 100', that expired in 1982. The price on the sticker was $17.60. I know it's not exactly what you are looking for, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
Odd. I was asking because some Fuji films in some formats were just discontinued, but that wasn't one of them to my knowledge. Freestyle shows expected delivery for it sometime next week, so maybe...
B&H was out of stock of 120? Which film?
All of the above store choices sound like good ones to me.
For slide film, I think I'd go with E100G or Provia for more subdued landscapes or E100VS...
Here's a big thread on it at APUG:
http://www.apug.org/forums/forum172/91857-ilford-price-increase-june-1st-2011-a-4.html
And here is where Simon Galley (from Ilford) first speaks up (it's post...
Sorry to be late to the game. In my testing, I don't think you can correct all color neg scans in Lightroom. It just doesn't offer all the tools you need. Again, from what I've found, you need to...
It could very well use 50' rolls; I don't know my Bolexes very well. But I thought the 16mm ones took 100' daylight rolls. 8mm cameras often take 50' cartridges.
Anyway, yes people still sell...
Wow, that's a great resource. Thanks for publishing a test like that.
When the Portra-2 films were released, there was a form/URL that was circulated on the forums and other places where you could sign up and get 4 rolls of Portra, 2 of NC and 2 of VC. Then around the...
Do you not think Kodak sending this film out to bloggers counts as advertising? I've also received Portra direct from Kodak on two separate occasions in the last couple years - one was when they...
This might be informative.

According to Kodak, E100G is still being made in 4x5.
As I read the information about this new film, it sounds like it's pretty much Portra 160NC with finer grain. Kodak's little comparison chart gives it the same saturation as 160NC. This is in...
They've already said it will be out in 35mm, 120, 220, 4x5, and 8x10 (from the official Kodak page). There was a note in another article that other sizes would be available from Canham.

You might get a better response to this question on APUG in the Silver Gelatin Based Emulsion Making & Coating forum.
If they did do it in 120, it was quite some time ago. More than 5 years ago. Maybe it was available in 120 in the 80's or 90's, I don't know. I wasn't shooting film then.
Take this with several grains of salt, but I've found in 35mm/120 with scanning, Ektar 100 at EI 200 with no development push but compensation in Photoshop didn't look too bad. Sure you lose some...
I don't think 400VC was available in 4x5.
My last batch of XTOL was mixed in October I think. I'm down to 8 oz. Still fine.
I mix it with distilled water and pour the it in 10 .5 liter water bottles filled to the top. I mark them...
The Targets and Walmarts in my area have indeed eliminated their one hour labs.
