  1. Re: Heidelberg drum scanner aperture control

    Hi,
On my Newcolor 7000 software there is a slider in the Tango window where you initiate the drum, do the prescan and scanning function. The slider is on the left just above the drum window and is...

  3. Re: \Grand Teton National Park and travel east accross Wyoming and Nebraska

That would have been a wonderful way to grow up in a state like Wyoming! And well I never met John McPhee but I do know his daughter, 8x10 photographer Laura McPhee. It's still a small world.
  4. Re: \Grand Teton National Park and travel east accross Wyoming and Nebraska

Although I'm not a geologist, I thought John Mcphee's book "Rising from the Plains" was a great introduction to the landscape, geology and history of Wyoming's wild and harsh land. This is from a...
  5. Re: \Grand Teton National Park and travel east accross Wyoming and Nebraska

When I showed up in Wyoming to work near Red Desert, I too thought that there's not a lot there. WOW, I couldn't have been more wrong.
  6. Re: \Grand Teton National Park and travel east accross Wyoming and Nebraska

I was in the Wind River Mountains last September, they are not easily accessed unless you are willing to spend an hour or so of jaw rattling over wash boarded roads. Green River Lakes, where the...

Fantastic!. I'd love to see a 16 foot long photo of that from a scan done with a Creo eversmart supreme scanner!

    Re: Make water look wet

I really like your photo, composition and shutter speed make for a dynamic image. But I wonder if it's more the subjective, being wet beach, waves and clouds that give the feeling of wet?

    Re: Make water look wet

I've either been told or read somewhere that the human eye sees at about 1/60th a second and photos taken at that speed will look more natural to us. It might have been Bruce Barlow that told me that.

Re: What's going to become of photography?

Don't you think it looks more like a Brett Weston photo instead of an Ansel Adams? I would wonder what it would look like if you entered it to be in the style of Brett Weston?
