I have some larger tanks in a box on the top shelf, let me see what I have may not even be HP. Been there a while!
Watching, I have an Omega E in need of conversion!
I thought I was simply too fiddle and unproductive. A great day for me is 5 maybe 6 shots.
Emil, Very nice work!
Yes, this exactly what I use. I have a Cambo 8X10, which is not light. I bought a dewalt surveyors transit for just over a 100. Made a base plate adaptor (nothing fancy, ply wood with threaded...
To focus in low light I use a flashlight on the object.
Then there was the Photobucket is not free any more fiasco. Outside links can be a bit shaky.
I am bringing this forward because it is such a great photo.
At my age I will take luck whenever I can get it!,

I have to say a very creative application of a wide format. I have been thinking about this composition since you posted it. very nice! I tend to look at things as a balance, the shoe on the...
I always thought casket sets were all barrel lens. As such they needed packard or film plane shutters. Or at least a Stetson.
Kevin
Fabulous Ken, great composition and execution.
Just a guess because I barely do 4x5, but it sounds like a full plate camera to me.
I paid $200.00 for mine with no lens cone or lens. Had to drive 4 hours one way. Took the wife, made a day of it.
Kevin
Rael, my E6 is a condenser unit.
Yes, I have an E, it does 5X7 very nicely. Lens cones are hard to find, but easy to make if needed. The glass negative carrier is handy for smaller negatives too. Just need to cut a mask. If...

Kevin
Real, if your still working with this, Set up the enlarger with a negative. Put a ream of paper as a base board, then remove sheets a few at a time until the grain is in focus using a grain...
My basic is 100 Meg up and down. Rural Nebraska. 5 teenagers at home. They all want to stream Netflix at the same time.
Welcome! I am in Kearney. I just lurk and collect equipment. I will have a darkroom, eventually!
Kevin
I think the mechanism to pull the dark slide and put it back would OK, but how about flip the film holder for the other side?
Thank you Bob, I am going to have to study a bit to learn the differences.
My 5x7 Technica is serial number 3011. possibly pre war- don't no for sure.
No. Not really. It ha to be an item you really want.
The snapshots go back to when he was still alive, which is slightly morbid now that I think about it.[/QUOTE]
Not near as morbid as snap shots after he was alive........
Fabulous, sighting dots! So simple I would have never figured it out. Thank You!
Frankly, buy a different camera.

Mycasebuilder.com.
Nice work. Same lighting for both shots?
Excellent light- one spot at high key? please tell....

WOW! I just did an Ebay search and none are for sale. that has to be a first!!
I know she is distracted by the playoffs. maybe sneak a pic watching football?
I see what you were looking at with her hair. The IPad did not do it justice. I think your composition is very solid.
Great composition. I like the bark of the tree but would of had the subject more linear with the flow of the roots. The juxtaposition of the model to that flow makes a person stop and think. Very...
