Thank you! Yep handheld but I was crouching and may have had it supported on my knee. I also have a series B 5x7 Graflex, doesn't have the rotating back but still a wonderful camera. Now if I could...

  6. Re: First of its kind carbon transfer fine art edition book

Congratulations Jim this is a major accomplishment! As a carbon printer I can appreciate how difficult this project must have been. I hope I get a chance to see one of these books in person one day....

    Re: Your Favorite Portraitists

As an impressionable young lad I came across a copy of some Farm Security Administration (FSA) photographs in my high school library. I've been a fan of Dorothea Lange and Walker Evans ever since.

    Re: Darkroom cooling/air conditioning options

I appreciate everyone’s input on this. I’m leaning towards the mini split for its efficiency, heating and cooling abilities, and ease of light proofing. After some research it looks like I can...

    Re: Darkroom cooling/air conditioning options

This actually seems like a pretty good option, more expensive but also more efficient and you get both heating and cooling.

    Re: Darkroom cooling/air conditioning options

Yes! Plus the added humidity is actually a bonus for most of the alt process stuff I do.

    Re: Darkroom cooling/air conditioning options

Yeah I thought about using a swamp cooler but they lose their effectiveness when the humidity picks up during the monsoons. They are cheap and would be a good solution for spring/early summer.

Goerz Hypergon. Somewhat of a rare lens because the outer element was very fragile. Had a cool little "star fan" thingy that you spun with an air bulb to even out exposure across the negative.
