  1. Re: F/9.0 lenses, what's your tips/trick for better viewing?

Ach! Are there nae Scotsmen here?

Take the cheapest flashlight you can find and drop it where you want to focus.

If you need some tilt for your focus, stretch a string of Christmas lights.

Re: Tick Season = Lyme Disease risk

Lone Star ticks are also vectors of alpha-gal syndrome. The tick transmits a sugar molecule called alpha-gal. The result is an allergy to red meat.

Re: E-Bay: What can I do If the buyer won't Pay?

Had a buyer of a $10 item suddenly pay up 2-3 weeks late. Said he had had a heart attack......

If it's a cheap enough item, hang out for a bit. Keep sending courteous reminders.

Re: Can you help me get this lens cell apart

There's always a hint - see the knurling on the top of the piece holding the beauty ring in? Get yourself a big rubber stopper or something else to get some friction on that ring and start turning. ...

Just a thought ( and don't ask how I know this ), but not all black plastic is perfectly opaque. You might try shining a laser pointer through a piece.
