Saw one today that also has a 5x7 back with it. Anyone recommend it or stay away for 5x7? I also have a Kodak 2D 5x7 but this camera is so much smaller and am considering buying it.
I used it to develop a couple of 5x7 sheets in a tray put in the Photoflex changing room because I don't have a lightproof area to develop it.
This is from a 5x7 that was developed in a monobath that was too old. I scanned it and processed it the best I know how and ended up with this.

To check a front surface mirror just put a finger or pencil eraser on the mirror, if there is a gap between the image and object then it's not a front surface mirror.
It appears to be light tight. What part exactly do I need to find?
I could make more having people posing with it and taking a picture with my digital.
I don't have a lens or holders or a stand so I don't know if it's worth pursuing. The back slides to different positions and looks like 5x7 but I didn't have a tape measure with me.

Sorry it may not have pulled but I went to check it and it wasn't there. I don't remember whether I contacted the moderator or he contacted me and said I had to put if it was for sale or trade. The...
I don't mind rules but at have them common sense rules. My for sale post a few years ago was pulled because I didn't put FS in the title. I know it's a FS/FT forum, but when you read the ad I think...
The lower bellows on my Beseler MXT separated from the lens standard and I want to re-glue it. Any recommendations that will do the job. I have somebody interested in buying it and would like to get...
Can either of these be used after long storage? The fixer is actually a little hard but I would like to use it if I can. Kodak D-19 doesn't seem to be recommended for regular film such as HP-5. Any...
I tried a paper safe once and it leaked.
I don't have an area that I can make light tight without spending a lot of time doing it, so this is what I tried and wonder if anybody else tried. I took a 5x7 shot and placed a 5x7 tray inside a...
This is from a 5x7 Kodak 2D and I used D76f monobath but tried to squeeze out one more negative and it didn't develop very well, but after scanning and processing this is what I ended up with and as...
Thanks for the kind words but this isn't my first time but this go around I am trying to slow way down, but my biggest problem is lack of artistic talent. I did see after scanning it that the...
The first time I tried large format I tried to squeeze it in within my life, but now I am semi retired I am going to try to spend more time at it. This tree was more interesting when I was looking at...
I ran across a couple of what I think were good bargain priced lenses and now of course I don't know which is best to keep. I will be using them mostly on my Crown Graphic for now and I also have 5x7...
I have a top mounted rangefinder that came with the Xenar 135mm and the focus using rangefinder matches gg focus. I also just bought a Nikkor-W 135mm and a Fujinon-W 210mm at a good price. I was...
I was at a local camera store a couple of days ago and the D-76 they had on display turned brown in the package and was advised not to buy it.
A couple of the windows are difficult to get at and would probably leave the mylar up on those. Also the mylar would would allow light from the other windows come through so it's not totally black. I...
I want to set up a darkroom but it must be one that is not permanent and only to be used occasionally. My problem is my basement has several small windows and a walk out door with a half window and I...
This was taken using the GG and although it's nothing special I am happy with the results with minimal digital processing.

I took this today handheld. It looks better printed than it does here.

I have only taken a couple of pictures and they were indoors with flash. I hope to get outdoors and shoot some using the GG but I bought it so I can use it as a point and shoot with the hope that the...
Even if it's off a mm or so why wouldn't the depth of field keep it focus since the press photographer used the distance scale.
I think I will just take more pictures and see what I get and I will double check the rangefinder and gg for focus outside in good light. I came across a 203mm Optar with graflex lensboard, infinity...
I recently re-purchased a Crown Graphic special with the Xenar 135mm and would like something that is much sharper to be used with the existing 135mm cam. I want to mostly use it with the rangefinder...
I received by rotary base and 8x10 drum but not sure how much developer should be used for 8x10 film.
I tried to develop my first 8x10 film and it didn't go as planned. I blackened my bathroom to a nearly totally black room and used a paper safe to develop but not knowing the paper safe didn't have a...
I am doing it because I can do foolish things at times. I don't have the talent or the patience but I came across a great deal on a Calumet C1 8x10 camera, a Dagor 10 3/4 inch lens and 4 near new...
I have been looking on craigslist. I responded to a ad for a Majestic for $75 which would have been perfect, so I set up a time to meet and when I got there he said he couldn't find it, then I had to...
What about a tiltall? It supposed to hold 44 lbs.
I came across a deal on a Calumet C1 with a Dagor 10 3/4 and 4 film holders for cheap money ($321 inc tax) but I need a tripod and don't want to spend more for the tripod than the camera. I want to...
Sorry I asked.
The 80mm is staying, I didn't realize I put in the group. I don't have a light tight darkroom as of yet so testing them is not an option.
I have a bunch of enlarging lenses and would like to know which I should keep and which I should sell. I have a 45MX enlarger and 6x6 and 4x5 cameras.

I have the opportunity to buy an 8x10 Calumet C1 along with a Dagor 10 3/4 in. f6.8 and 4 film holders for $450. I am just dabbling back into film with a Wista 45DX and a recently purchased...
I edited the question.
Does anyone know if these lenses are high quality and what would be the usage of these two lenses?
