very nice photograph!!!
Very nice!!!
digital GraLab 505, great timer!
the display can be dimmed enough to be used for film development.
For some time I have been considering something like this using a Beseler 4x5 glassless negative holder and an Aristo cold light source (it's got a nice diffuser which should be more than enough).

I use replenished xtol and presoak all my film for 2minutes. Dip & Dunk btw.
I only shoot b&w, my filters are yellow #8, red #25 and polarizer.

Welcome from Hermosillo, Sonora.
Welcome Richard and congratulations for taking your first step into LF.
Be sure to check http://www.largeformatphotography.info/
there is a lot of useful information for the beginner, it sure did...
Thank you all for your comments, given the low price I will try it out and report back when it arrives.

Hello Mohammed,
welcome to the LFP forum. An Ebony is surely a very nice lightweight camera, although I'd suggest you consider a monorail unless you're planning on walking long distances with it....
Recently I bought a 65mm f8 Super Angulon that came in a #00 synchro-compur that I want to use on my 4x5 Cambo SC.
I have been keepeing an eye on the auction site, but finding a #00 recessed board...
Something more like René Magritte...

another vote for Tiltall...
angular indeed!
great photograph Maris.
David, first, let me say that you have some great photographs there, congratulations. I also do my own processing of negatives and enlargements, so I know the amount of effort involved.

Thank you very much for your comments.
The opening reception was a success, attendance was well above average for a photography show here in Hermosillo (80-90 souls). On the business side, I sold...
Robert, Drew:
Thank you for your kind comments.
polarizer, yellow #8 & red #25
during my first two years doing LF I metered with my 35mm Canon Rebel XS and had pretty good results using the zoom to meter smaller areas (probably getting about 10 degrees in the center at 80mm).

The photographs will stay on display until April 29th.

I use Tiffen (POL, yellow #8 & red #25), works fine and I can't pay more.
while not new, I did a still life last month with a 75mm EL-NIKKOR and it worked pretty well with great magnification-
another vote for Tiltall, it supports my cambo SC 4x5.
I'm no expert, but have used this procedure to calibrate my ZS and you got it right: testing is only good for the film / developer/paper you're using
and I may add to that: developer agitation...
check out the services from Michael Smith:

I always expose 2 sheets with the same shutter & fstop and adjust developing time for the second sheet after proofing the first.
beautiful portraits Stephane, what film & developer are you using?
add to that a 135mm Symmar-S with genuine schneideritis :)
