Re: JUPITER-13(125/1.5) Rare soviet lens (samples)

Thanks, I was guessing Velvia from the richness of the colours and yes tungsten incandescent lights do seem good at adding warmth to any photos, film or digital.

Re: Why View The Forum? Out Of Country

Re: Why View The Forum? Out Of Country

First LF forum I found, lots of great information, helpful people and fantastic photography with no real indication it was a US focused site (and after coming back to it am still waiting for the UK...

Re: free brand new olympus p 400

Pity you are half a world away, would have been perfect for my 10 year old photography mad daughter with a computer almost as old as she is!
  7. Re: To the Moscow meetings large and medium a format 3 years

Yep, have posted over there (I'm STalbot1 for reasons that escape me over there!) Still check in and read it though don't really post very often
  8. Re: To the Moscow meetings large and medium a format 3 years

Yep their prices have gone up lots since I bought from them (plus my £s buy much less $ than then!). Kiev prices have certainly gone up lots in Western Europe over the last few years as well.
    I keep...

Great to hear that Diskworld has found it's way to Russia!
  10. Re: To the Moscow meetings large and medium a format 3 years

Yep my Kiev 60 is a great reliable camera, I need to service it at the moment but once I've had time to do that it will be good for many more years! I seem to remember mine cost around $250 from...
  11. Re: To the Moscow meetings large and medium a format 3 years

Yep, it seems Kiev prices have held up better than almost all the other MF brands. Have just been looking for a 645 camera. When I bought the Kiev 60 it was easily the cheapest 6x6 SLR by a long way...
  12. Re: To the Moscow meetings large and medium a format 3 years

Good to find another Kievaholic here and thanks for the fantasic Kiev Report! Must get round to taking the Kiev 60 (finger trouble calling it a 66 above!) to bits and sort out the frame spacing now...
  13. Re: To the Moscow meetings large and medium a format 3 years

Excellent, I'm a big fan of Soviet cameras, from the tiny Kiev 35, by way of Zenit EM and Kiev 66 to a 9x12 Fotokor. Hope to see you all in Moscow sometime!

    Re: Market price on Jobo

My CPE came with a 4312 tank which takes 2 reels 35mm and the pic on the box shows it with a 4530 (what I've bought to go with it) which takes 5x4 from what I can see written on it in the box picture...

    Re: Market price on Jobo

Re: My Finished Bulldog 5x4 Camera Kit

Cool, I'm seriously thinking about of these as a dedicated pinhole camera. Just need to decide if I need the 5x4 or 10x8 variant!
