    Re: Large Format Landscapes

I'll add a +4 -- that's a beautiful waterfall captured rather elegantly! The curves of the falls and the contrast in the image are just excellent.

Thanks for the kind words and glad to hear that I've inspired you to explore Ektar more. I'm certainly enjoying shooting more of it. If only it came in boxes of more than 10 sheets....

I took my Intrepid (1st Gen) out to the North Carolina Outer Banks and made these two images that I'd like to share. Both on Kodak Ektar and both with the excellent Nikkor 90mm SW f/8.

Re: CineStill 120 and maybe 4x5

CineStill has made it past the $150k mark and this means that based on their campaign, they will be assembling 4x5 sheet film.

If it's only a money grab and we don't end up getting the sheet film,...

Re: CineStill 120 and maybe 4x5

    Jason,

Thank you for pointing the error in my math out -- it is $4/sheet at that point and that's closer to our normal going rate.

I still do hope they make it as it is 800 speed color film as...

Re: CineStill 120 and maybe 4x5

Yeah -- they're definitely getting closer. If you back the $100 4x5 option, you get a 50 sheet pack of Cinestill Film if they make the $150k. That's $2 a sheet for CineStill, which is an amazing deal...

Thanks for your comments -- it would be interesting to see with more sky and less stone. I'll have to bear that in mind the next time I'm trying to photograph a similar scene.
