    Re: Photo supplies in Mexico???

    Sandy,
It is no different by land. I was merely stating the official ruling. In practice, they are usually pretty lax about the cameras and film.

I don't declare my equipment, but usually have a...

    Re: Lens Wraps: Recommendations ?

    Ken,
Not a wrap, but I highly recommend Photobackpacker cases for lenses. They can be labeled individually and configured in a manner that fits whatever tote you might have.

    Having them velcroed...

Re: Kodak PLUS-X Aerographic Film 2402

I use an EI of 25 in D76 1+1 for about 8-9min @ 68F. It seems to work well most of the time. I usually use this film with my barrel lenses and my exposure times are very imprecise.

Re: 5x7 gg spring back for orphan Ansco?

I'm not sure if this will help with your quest or not, but I have a 5x7 Ansco Universal and a B&J 5x7 back.

The 5x7 back is a very close fit for the Ansco, but is about 1/16" shy of the right...

Re: Roll Film Holders on Crown Graphic

    Michael,
You can either mark off the GG where the roll film holder aperture lies, or use the coupled rangefinder to focus and the viewfinder (with appropriate mask) to compose. Graflex.org has mask...

    Re: Mido Film Holders Reborn???

    Hey guys.
It has been a month since I sent Shin my camera & filmholder dim's, but never heard back. I figured he was busy or had personal matters to deal with, so haven't bothered him.

Re: Modified Polaroid 110B User Feedback

    Mark,
While I have not used them modified, I have used the 110A and 900 handheld and loaded with a sheet of 4x5.

I would recommend just buying a standard 110A or 110B ($30-$100) and trying it...
  11. Re: Shen-hao 4x5 back leak....could it be normal?!

    Dan,
I have owned two HZX's and never had a problem with leaks, although I'm always leery of stray light with all cameras I use and don't usually pull the darkslide until a few seconds before I...

    Re: Best Handheld 4X5?

I'd definitely recommend a Crown Graphic for this. It is light, well balanced for handheld shooting, has available RF's and is easily within your budget. It is much better balanced than a Speed or...

    Re: Shen Hao experience

    Phil,
I rotate through cameras a bit, but I have owned two HZX45's. In 4x5, I've also shot with a Toyo45D, Sinar P, Crown Graphic and Super Speed Graphic.

I personally really like the HZX as a...

I'm curious...Why did you decide on the FCL57 vs. the HZX57?

    Lighter weight? Lower cost?
