Re: Best 8x10 camera for ultra-wide angle?

The Arca-Swiss 8x10 with a short rail and the wide angle bellows, performs great, even with the rather poor quality in the corners, 120mm lenses. But it is superb with the 150mm to 165mm lenses.
  2. Re: Any ideas where I might get some stick on aperture pointers?

SK Grimes could probably mark the boards for you.

    https://skgrimes.com/lens-boards/

They do all sorts of lens board and custom camera things.

I have used them for 30 years.

  3. Re: Silvestri Loupe 8x vs. Schneider 4x Magnifier Loupe vs. Chamonix Jobo Artisan 5x

I must comment, that your eye strain over a day of large format photography, and the accuracy of focus, may suffer with loups for focusing above 5x. The higher magnification loups began to magnify...

Some notes to you. You should never freeze film unless you have an old 1950s freezer. The freezers with frost-free freezers since 1970s do a flash defrost/freeze agin cycle to eliminate the buildup...

Be apprised most of these cameras are limmted to 210mm as the longest for 5x7. They often vignette a lot with longer lenses.
